My grandmother was a resident here. The facility itself is beautiful, but the care was subpar. Staffing appeared to be an issue. Often there was no one at the front desk to buzz you in. My grandmother also had repeated problems while in the Memory Care with other residents entering her room and taking her things.

The only staff that we met at Sugar Loaf was the coordinator, and she has been really great. The facility is beautiful. What they have are apartments that are more independent, like in their assisted living facility. They do have tons of activities, from bingo and movies to exercise classes to outings and parties. They even have an exercise room. I really do like this facility, as it’s really nice.
