"My visit to Adith Miller Manor was good. The place seemed well-maintained and good aesthetic-wise. The staff accommodated us fine and there were no issues. They have full services and amenities, they have individual rooms, a reading area, and lounge area, and everything you could want. They also prepare all your meals. The only thing I found is that they only have shared rooms."

"I like Roger Metz Manor, and I think it's a nicer place than others I have visited. I also like that they have single rooms available. The community is right on a park, it's clean, and its got a great view. The person who gave me the tour was fine, and was the same person who accommodated me for their sister community."

"The location is pretty poor, there is little or no parking. Had to walk a fair amount to get to the building. The building is in several parts on older and part newer, I was in the older part. It was very old, but was in good repair and seems built to last. The place was pretty clean, better than my house but I did feel like the place would have cleaner if the staff wanted it to be. It wasn't very homey and really reminded me of a warehouse built to house people, there is very little personality or even a chance for people to make it theirs. There where some pictures on the wall, most reminded me of a bad dorm room from college. I had dinner there and it was OK at best. The food was pretty boring. "

"My grandmother just got into a nursing home right here in town where she lives. It's the Good Shepherd Lutheran Services in Rushford. They definitely are personal with the residents. They don't just treat the disease or whatever's wrong with them, they treat their personal interests as well. The staff seems very knowledgeable about what they're doing and they seem really dedicated to the residents. The facility is pretty nice. It would be someplace I would want to go when I get older. It's a good location. It's kind of on top of a hill with really pretty views outside the windows. My grandmother doesn't participate in the activities, but they definitely have a very good activities director. They do bingo and have prizes too. They do movie nights too, so the activities are very good."

"I went to Prairie Home, and I would have given it a 5. The tour was excellent, but it was too far from me. I liked the staff, it was all on ground level, which I liked. It was smaller, the activities were good, and the meals were fine. If they were closer, my mother would have been there in a heartbeat. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating, and very caring."

"We have our name in Eagle Crest North. It's very wonderful. They're active, and they're moving. They have a staff that cares for them, and they check on them every hour. It looked like an ideal place for what we needed. The staff who assisted me was very, very helpful. She showed us a room and she showed us what's available there and the activity-type things that they may do. They have an outside area they can go to. The tour was wonderful. I like the rooms. There are four different levels of rooms. We chose the second one because it's separate and large enough to get a queen size bed in. It's very well laid out. We observed activities. They were at lunch initially and then they started playing some kind of game afterward. I was very impressed with the whole situation, like the rooms, the people that were taking care of them, and the people seemed to be enjoying the food they were serving as they were eating, which is an issue for us. I would rate the staff I met very high. They seemed to care about the people. I saw several of the residents being helped with like food delivery, eating, and so forth. I think they're very efficient and very caring. The place is beautiful and well maintained."

"My mother is in Laurel Manor. I have nothing, but good things to say about the care that she was given there. Their facility is small. They have 22 rooms. They have a communal dining area with a TV. They do activities, and they have volunteers that come in. They do exercises twice a week with other volunteers that come in and do activities. In fact, I also have some friends that we try to get there once a month to do some activities. They are able to go across to the nursing home right next door, which is part of the same care center for religious services. They have mass, and they have Lutheran services over there. They'll sometimes have entertainment. The residents at Laurel Manor are invited over for that as well. It's clean. I got to know the women that are working each time I come, and they all are so helpful. I couldn't ask for anything more really. The food there was great. She got two meals a day, lunch, and dinner. They have a choice of two things for each meal, which was helpful. If you don't like this, you might like that. They were on their own for breakfast, and I would take her milk and energy bars she can snack on for breakfast. Her room is lovely. It's actually a small apartment. She has a bedroom and a bath, and she has a little living room and a kitchen. It's open enough that she can move around with her walker. We were invited to bring our own TV for her in her room, and they had cable hooked up for her. It is really nice. If she could have stayed there, I would have loved for her to stay; she just needs a little more help. They would tell me if there was a problem or if she needed something. They were a big help. She never went hungry there. They come in and clean once a week. They do her laundry once a week. Their facility is spotless and well taken care of. The value for the money is wonderful; it was reasonable."

"Spring Brook Assisted Living is wonderful, but it's too big, with over a hundred residents. It was an excellent tour. The staff is excellent, the rooms were more of an apartment, with a stove, a refrigerator. The staff was excellent."

"My mom moved into Eagle Crest South's assisted living in June. So far, I've never had a problem with them communicating with me all the time or if something changes. We're also told if there are COVID-positive people, so it's good. It's a very nice facility, very clean, and the upkeep is very nice. Her room is very spacious. She has her own bedroom, a living area, a tiny little kitchen, and a bathroom. For her, it's just the right size. They offer laundry service, medication management, and three meals a day. The staff is also very professional. The location is, of course, convenient because I'm from that area, so I know my way around. They have a lot of activities and a lot of things on the calendar. My mother is just in the stage where she's not willing to do a lot of things. For what we're paying, I think she's getting a lot more from it than if she would have stayed at home."
