"My grandmother is moving back into Eagle Crest South. She was in the independent living. I've been there before. The staff is very good, they've been helpful, and they took good care of her. The rooms are clean and nice, the staff is nice, and they have a salon. It's very nice and it looks very good."

"We were looking for a nursing home that could provide the therapy that our mom needed after a major stroke and chose Bethany Riverside. When mom arrived at Bethany Riverside, she needed assistance with nearly everything. The facility was clean and the staff were kind and compassionate. They worked together as a team and encouraged mom to take one day at a time. They managed her complex medical problems, understood her limitations, and encouraged her to keep working toward her goals. The therapy department was outstanding! Mom participated in therapy 5 days per week during her 52 day stay at Bethany Riverside. She was discharged to her home and is back to her baseline and enjoying life. I would recommend this nursing home for those looking for an excellent therapy department for a loved one. "

"My mother currently lives in The Willows. The apartments are just fine. They have one and two bedrooms, and they keep them up real nice. They have recreation, they provide exercise classes, and musicians come in. The dining room is just beautiful. The food was going downhill, but now they got new cooks, and everybody is pleased again. If I'm that incapacitated and needed assisted living, I'd love to live there. She has been there for 13 years. "

"We visited Benedictine Villa which was Catholic. The staff was very nice; the rooms were fine. They had a lot of activities. "

"We visited Hillview Terrace, and the rooms were pretty much what I expected. The staff were helpful. The place was pretty basic, and the dining facilities looked fine. They had outings once or twice a week. "

"Shelby Terrace Assisted Living is a very convenient location for my mom. I would say it's well-appointed with nice accommodation. It's also friendly. I saw the dining area and I saw a sample of what the menu would be. It's limited because it's two meals a day instead of three, but they offer the option for more if you want to pay for it. It all seemed quite reasonable. It was somewhat dated, but it's adequate."

"It was extremely pleasant to be in Eagle Crest. It was clean, smelled good, beautiful and seemed brand new. It has an elevator which is very nice. You can have a one or two bedroom apartment, and the price goes up with it. One meal is included per week, only for $7 and the rest you don’t have to because you have a kitchen. The people appeared to be extremely happy and pleasant. They take you to doctor's appointment and shopping but you have to pay for that. I would recommend this place to others in a minute. "

"I went to Prairie Home, and I would have given it a 5. The tour was excellent, but it was too far from me. I liked the staff, it was all on ground level, which I liked. It was smaller, the activities were good, and the meals were fine. If they were closer, my mother would have been there in a heartbeat. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating, and very caring."

"Pleasant Valley Seniors has been very good, and we're very happy with it. It's a lower cost, affordable, and small senior home. The staff is very pleasant and very friendly. They do card games, board games, and a common area with a television, but there are no fancy amenities at this place."

"I happened to visit Caledonia Care and Rehab Buck, once my co-worker asked me to accompany him as he wanted to see his Mother in law. This was my first visit to any such facility and I had fairly high standards in my mind. Once we entered the facility, we did not find any parking place. It took us some time to park the car at some distance away and then enter the facility. Staff was not present at the reception so we had no one to guide us to her room. We managed to find the room and met the old lady. She was very unhappy about the behavior of the staff and food standard. She wanted to quit this facility as soon as possible. We found the corridors untidy and the building in a miserable condition. Mean while, the waitress had brought her lunch. The quality of food was low and utensils were not clean too. The residents were quite a few in numbers and looked gloomy. I did not find any life or home like environment here. The nursing staff was not present and we found no arrangements to handle the patient. My co-worker promised the lady to find some alternate arrangements for her. I was not impressed with the facility and would not recommend for loved ones. "

"Marycrest was really, really nice. I like it for my husband. They showed us apartments, which were really nice. Also they had a place, if you were able to, to work out and they feed you lunch. I thought the rooms were really nice, but the only thing I didn't like was that AC and heat was from a window. Overall, I like Marycrest because if you got really bad, they would transfer you. "

"The only staff that we met at Sugar Loaf was the coordinator, and she has been really great. The facility is beautiful. What they have are apartments that are more independent, like in their assisted living facility. They do have tons of activities, from bingo and movies to exercise classes to outings and parties. They even have an exercise room. I really do like this facility, as it’s really nice. "

"I like Roger Metz Manor, and I think it's a nicer place than others I have visited. I also like that they have single rooms available. The community is right on a park, it's clean, and its got a great view. The person who gave me the tour was fine, and was the same person who accommodated me for their sister community."

"My visit to Adith Miller Manor was good. The place seemed well-maintained and good aesthetic-wise. The staff accommodated us fine and there were no issues. They have full services and amenities, they have individual rooms, a reading area, and lounge area, and everything you could want. They also prepare all your meals. The only thing I found is that they only have shared rooms."
