Marycrest was really, really nice. I like it for my husband. They showed us apartments, which were really nice. Also they had a place, if you were able to, to work out and they feed you lunch. I thought the rooms were really nice, but the only thing I didn't like was that AC and heat was from a window. Overall, I like Marycrest because if you got really bad, they would transfer you.

We visited a family friend at Morrow Memorial Home. This is one is a lot larger. It had a kitchen area and she had a lot of room. She even had a big window that looked to the backside part of a park area. It seemed expensive. It looked really expensive, though I'm not sure of the price. She just had everything. The staff is great and very accommodating. It seemed like they were concerned. It's in a good location. The place is really clean. A lot of the staff is very helpful.

I liked this nursing home very much. The staff seemed to be very friendly and genuinly cared about the residents. They would speak to us whenever we came in and give us some feedback on the progress and the things that their residents were involved in. They also told us events that they do for the residents so they arent couped up in their rooms all day. The only thing that i didnt really like was that they didnt really keep a close eye on my grandma. She was very old when she was in the nursing home so she didnt eat much so when she was given her meals she didnt eat barely any of it and the staff didnt seem to encourage her to eat. I know they cant force her to eat but they didnt even seemed like they tried to get her to eat. They also gave her a roommate that kind of scared my grandma. Her roommate was clearly no all there so she would talk to herself and say things that didnt make sense. My grandma seemed a little disturbed by that so i think they could have given her a better roommate, someone that she could actually talk to. But all in all i really did like this facility. Everything seemed to be kept up and clean which is always a plus.
