"I went here, and I liked it. They're coming out to evaluate my friend on Friday. It was very good. They were friendly and it was clean. The people seemed happy and the lady who I toured with was very nice. I didn't have any problems with it at all. I didn't try the food, but I saw it, and it looked good. I saw the chapel, rooms, and the courtyard. I think I saw almost everything. The rooms were clean and roomy. One of them had carpet, and that wasn't my thing because I just prefer not carpet. The other ones have luxury vinyl floors, which is what I would do. That was more like the premier room. The one-room I was interested in had granite countertops, and it had a nice view, which was the main reason why I was interested in it. You could see outside, and it had a double window. It was nice."

"Sean and Ashley have been great to work with. Very accommodating to Mom’s special needs. Activities director Stephanie is awesome. Food tasty and so much variety. Excellent place. "

"I have visited Cypress Square, and my father is going to move there for assisted living. The tour I had was excellent. They took me through the whole building, and the people were very kind and very nice. The office staff helped me step by step to get through what I needed to get through. They met with my father and did an assessment. They asked him questions, and he's excited to go. The dining area was very nice. They have an excellent menu for elderly people, but I have not tried the food. My father is going to be staying in a studio. It has a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, and a closet. It's perfect for one person and has just enough space for him to feel like he has his own place. Everything was in great order. It's laid out in a square with the dining room in the middle. All the rooms are on the outside, and the dining room is on the inside. They also have rooms off to the side for arts and crafts, a TV room, and things like that. It was a perfect setup. The facility looks great, casual-looking, and homey."

"The Palms of Mt. Pleasant is really good and nice. The people are nice, and they have lots of activities. The rooms are very nice and clean. My sister is in independent living. The staff is very professional, nice, and really good. I don't have complaints. They take folks to church and have priests come into the facility. The place is very clean."

"My sister is in Cooper River Assisted Living. We looked at it and met with the director. It was clean. The director was very accommodating and informative. We looked at a room that was a corner room with two windows and a small refrigerator, and it had security, which we like because we fear that she would walk out. She seems to enjoy doing the activities there. They do her laundry and meals, and she's got a TV. She can bring in her own furniture. A big selling point for us was the fact that she wears a wristband, and she can't just walk out the front door. An alarm will go off. Also, we met some of the staff at the front desk, and it was like a nice open lobby. This was more conveniently located for us, too. Price-wise, it was more within her budget. They've been great, so the price is workable for now. She seems happy there. It is smaller than the other place that she was in."

"My mother-in-law is in a long-term care facility at Franke Home at Seaside. They have different levels of care from independent living to assisted living. They also have a rehab wing and a skilled nursing facility. The staff is doing a good job. She is in a single room with a private bath. They have semi-private with two people in the same room and a nice program. They use their chapel for social events and bring in musical performances, speakers, church service on a weekly basis, and activities for the people. They have an activities director and physical and occupational therapy."

"Dayspring came recommended to me by a friend in the healthcare field. I had already experienced two other local facilities with a more "corporate" structure. I moved my mom to Dayspring, which was a smaller, more personal and family like facility. I liked the fact that my mom was in common areas throughout the day for activities, meals and fellowship/friendship with the other residents. The owners have genuine love and care for the residents and often go above and beyond. I personally experienced that many times with regards to my mom and her care/needs. The staff are the best and will talk with you and assist you in any way while you are in the facility or calling in. The owners were very timely in communicating changes in mom and following through with physicians and pharmacies. I always felt very informed and involved in the process. My mom was there for 8 years. Dayspring was her new home with new family members. "

"My father was a resident at Daysprings for the last few years of his life. It is owned and staffed by the most genuine and loving people. He was receiving hospice care when he arrived, but because of the wonderful care he received was released from hospice care. I live almost 300 miles away and visited him every month. I was so warmly greeted every time and amazed at how much progress he had made. He was genuinely happy around these folks who treated him like family. They celebrated milestones and occasions with each resident making them feel so special. He loved the meals and the ones preparing them. Daddy enjoyed the various church groups that came and visited. I know without a doubt that he lived two months shy of his 101st birthday because of Daysprings! His last days were spent in a hospital and the Dayspring owners and staff all visited him. The owners were as greatly affected by his loss as we were. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about Daysprings except that I am so very grateful to them and for them and the care they provided. I would recommend Dayspring to ANYONE that is trying to find the “perfect” place for their loved one!"

I always felt blessed and relieved to not have to worry about mom, even when I went out of town. This is not the fanciest assisted living, but I am confident that I made the right choice. "

"Palmettos of Charleston was more expensive, no professional met with me, and although the activities director was really good, she could not answer all my questions. It was clean, the landscape was kept up, and they do regular maintenance. They showed me a room, it was comparable with the others, and it was spacious. There were a lot of common areas. They have outings, get togethers, and Bingo parties."

"My mother is a resident of this facility. The staff is amazing !!! They are warm and friendly. They really care about the residents there. The new Administrator is very competent and knows her stuff. If you ever visit this facility you will notice there are no odors when you enter. It always smell fresh or either it smell like whatever they are cooking. My mom says the food is good and I have noticed the variety of different meals. Over-all it is a GREAT place.
