The assisted living at Pinewood Square is awesome. I met the administrator and the person who took me on the tour, who said she's only been there for three weeks, but you would have never known. You would have thought she had been there for three years because she was very professional. She took me to the studio apartment and the regular apartment. They have a beautiful sitting area outside, and you can see the water from the room we went to. It was a very good view. They were also doing activities when I arrived there. They were playing a game with a pool noodle and a balloon. They were hitting a balloon, and it was pretty cool. They were also reading a story. The staff members were very professional and very sincere. They liked what they were doing, and it wasn't just a job for the money. I feel that they were working and enjoyed what they did.

I toured Pinewood Square. It's a smaller community and everything was kind of close by and all. The staff was very nice. The facility was very good and very clean. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. I only found one that was a one-bedroom, and the size was a little small.

We liked our tour, it was clean and they seemed to cover all the bases. They had emergency poles and things like that. They don't have any advancement from assisted living into memory care which is an issue for us because my dad has Alzheimer's. The rooms were adequate, some of them had showers that you could get a chair into if you were completely wheelchair or walker-bound. They had two bathrooms, and in the other bathroom you could not get a walker or a wheelchair into the tub, it was like a shower tub thing. They had an interior garden area with benches, and so out every window they had a view of it. It was nice that all the rooms had a good view, and they didn't view air conditioners or a parking lot, which I liked. None of the rooms had a stove or oven, but they all had microwaves and a mini-refrigerator. The staff who gave me the tour was wonderful, she was good. She gave us a sample of the menu, and the menu looked really good. It was very thorough with lots of options, and they don't serve the food to your room so you have to come into the dining room to eat.

I went here, and I liked it. They're coming out to evaluate my friend on Friday. It was very good. They were friendly and it was clean. The people seemed happy and the lady who I toured with was very nice. I didn't have any problems with it at all. I didn't try the food, but I saw it, and it looked good. I saw the chapel, rooms, and the courtyard. I think I saw almost everything. The rooms were clean and roomy. One of them had carpet, and that wasn't my thing because I just prefer not carpet. The other ones have luxury vinyl floors, which is what I would do. That was more like the premier room. The one-room I was interested in had granite countertops, and it had a nice view, which was the main reason why I was interested in it. You could see outside, and it had a double window. It was nice.

I visited here. The staff was great. They showed us around and showed us into one of the rooms. It seemed like a very nice place. It didn't smell like some nursing homes, and I hate a place like that. I actually just casually stopped and talked to a couple of the people in there, and it seemed like they really liked it. The staff during the tour was very informative. It was a nice-looking facility. I know they had somebody to cut their hair, and they had different activities like gardening.

I lived in here for 8 months. My experience was fine. They were good to me. I had a studio apartment. They had some activities, but I did not participate in much of it. The staff was good.

We have a place for my relative to stay. He is in Pinewood now. We visited a lot of facilities in the area and we like this one the best. He has been there for two months now. The staff seems great. They seem to care about their guests. It also seems like they are knowledgeable. We did have to furnish his room there but that wasn't really a problem.
