"I found a nice place, Wynwood actually. I had even paid for a room for my uncle, but he passed away. All of the facilities really seemed very nice. It was affordable, which was why I chose it, but the place itself was also very nice. The staff was excellent. I was impressed with the care and the things that they had planned for the people there. My uncle would have been in the dementia unit. They even put a little bar at the end of the floor, and that was going to be a place just for the men. It seemed like they took a lot of care in making it a comfortable and happy place for the residents. From what I could see, it was very well-run. "

"I didn’t stay for long at Sterling House during my visit because they did not have a program specific to people with dementia,but the place had no medicinal smell or bad smell. The residents that I saw seemed happy and satisfied. The staff seemed to be attentive. The facility and the grounds are beautiful. "

"Amazing staff & facility . The transition for my Mother in law to the facility , from her home was so easy ! Ida , Kennedy , Elisabeth were beyond helpful , and the therapy department stepped rite in and started services quickly upon move in. I would highly recommend this facility for any Assisted Living needs ! It is a warm , caring environment that makes such a hard transition , feel seamless THANK YOU to the entire staff for being so nice !"

"I had looked at Sunrise. The facility was very nice. Everything was clean and neat. The accommodation and staff seemed very nice. They were friendly and courteous. Everyone was very pleasant. Their rooms were also very nice. However, they did not have a secured memory care area and I don't think they had the specific care that my mother needed. If someone needed a home and had no Alzheimer's I would recommend Sunrise. "

"I want to thank the incredible staff at Millennium Memory Care in Monroe for taking such good care of me these last three months. I want to especially thank Maria, John and Sara, who go out of their way to make my life and the lives of my loved ones so much better. They have love in their hearts and I am truly grateful to them for helping me get through the day. Without them, my family and I would be lost. With them, we can do no wrong. "Legacy Gardens of Bristol is very nice. There's only 26 tenants in the whole place, so you know your residents are getting cared for because there's only a few people. So the ratio is awesome. They're very nice, I like them a lot, and I would highly recommend it. I love the staff, they're awesome. They're very nice, caring, and helpful. It's an awesome place, they take excellent care of my mother-in-law, and she seems happy there. So it's a win-win situation. I haven't eaten there, but she says that the food is good. It's clean, it's nice, even her hair and nails are neat. They have plenty of activities and stuff for them to do. They have movies, game nights, bingo, and they have music. You get a lot of value for the money and it's affordable. So it's definitely worth it. It's excellent care."

"Everything at Oxford Crossings was amazing. Carlen was extremely helpful and just had nothing but a ton of information for me, and it was all very helpful. The place was beautiful. The staff was amazing. The facilities were top-notch. It was a newer facility and had very high standards. The staff was just completely professional, very courteous, and very friendly. I was unable to sample a meal but they did show me a menu, and it seemed to be a rotating menu. They said special requests were also provided within reason, but it seemed like they go above and beyond for their residents. I was very impressed. I did meet the event coordinator, and she had a full list of activities."

"I liked that Juniper Village at Bucks County has independent living, assisted living, and nursing care. They're highly rated and there's one fee to get in, plus another monthly fee. They showed me 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, both of which were very nice. They offer spring and fall cleaning services, and they have a bus to take you to your appointments if you tell them ahead of time. I wish the staff member knew more. For example, I had to meet with the activities director in order to learn what activities they have because the sales person didn't know that. They offer one meal a day for assisted living and three a day for those in the nursing home."

"My mother moved into this facility in June, She loves it and we are all extremely pleased with the residence, The staff is wonderful! They treat the residents like family. The facility is clean and inviting and we could not be happier to know that our mom is so happy. "

"We have been using CareOne at East Brunswick for respite care for my sister, and they have been great. They have helped us out a lot. They are very caring and very knowledgeable. The facility is brand new, and it's fantastic. They have lots of resources available for the families of the residents there, even resources that are outside of their facility. They helped us out with a team of doctors. The rooms are beautiful. There is a refrigerator in her room and a big bathroom that's created for someone who's disabled. It's easy to get around. It is big. It has a big closet, a dresser, and a bed. They have outdoor spaces. They also have a large indoor balcony. The outdoor patio is really big. The food was fine, but they need to be more conscious of the needs of particular residents. They are also understaffed, which I think is the case for all the facilities."

"I can’t stop singing the praises of the Birches community. They have shown my father so much love, patience, and care as if he were a member of their family. The staff go above and beyond making sure I am kept looped into my father’s care which is helpful since I live out of state. The facility is clean, safe, and they provide a ton of activities to keep him entertained. The response times of addressing any concerns when they arise is top notch! I love receiving updates of his care and pictures of him smiling. I’m glad I was able to find a facility that is within his budget and truly care about the quality of service they provide!"

"I went to visit the assisted living facility of Mira Vie in East Brunswick, and I was impressed. They're renovating the entire place, but I saw some of the rooms that are renovated, and they were very nice. The staff members were all very nice to speak to. They were informative and very helpful. I also saw their menu, and it looked very nice. You have choices of different foods that you could get as a resident there. I saw several activities like movies being shown, games being played, and exercise activities."

"The Villas was very nice. It's a recent build, so it's beautiful. The amenities were lovely. It was a very nice experience. It was very small. We were told that they had availability, but when we went there, they had this one teeny 500 square foot unit available. The other units were very nice, but very tight as well. They had a couple of outside units with outside access and it felt like zero security. Their only security was, "You're supposed to go to the front desk," and that's not security. It had an external door, so if they left it unlocked, anybody could walk in on your loved ones. Especially my grandmother, who is in the beginning stages of dementia, it felt very unsafe with that type of access. Otherwise, it was very nice. The woman we spoke to was very nice. You had to take a COVID test when you got in, so it felt like they had very good protocols, but it wasn't a good fit. The dining area was very nice and wide open, so it very much felt like a huge restaurant. It didn't really have that cozy feel, but it was a nice area."
