My husband moved to the American Dream Home. They're clean, smell nice, and the people are kind. It's pretty inside and it's kept clean. It has a nice backyard. They took my husband somewhere to get a haircut. They have cameras in the rooms 24-hours a day to make sure that if they fall they see it. They have a variety of food. They have transportation. I like the location, it's close to us.

About American Dream Home in Phoenix, Arizona
At American Dream Home, our 24 Hour staff and On-site Nurse are trained in many levels of care. We are highly experienced with dementia care, as well as caring for those with Parkinson's Disease, MS, ALS, etc. Our staff is trained in caring for those with catheters, ostomys, feeding tubes, and those requiring the use of mechanical lifts. Dementia, Parkinson's Disease, MS and a variety of age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent residents from caring for themselves. Our goal is to provide excellent care within a home-like environment. We want our residents to feel safe and loved from the first day they arrive.
We believe food and meal time plays an important role in our resident's overall sense of home and creating a family environment. We serve a variety of foods that our residents enjoy and always love to incorporate any of your favorite recipes as well. Meal time is an opportunity for us to connect with our residents and for them to socialize and enjoy each other.

My father is a resident there. His disease causes him many issues that can make it a big challenge to care for him. I met the owners and immediately felt comfortable with them. I can't say enough good things about how awesome their entire staff is and how much time they dedicate to my fathers care. I honestly feel they go above and beyond and try their very best to take care of their residents. The place is very clean and welcoming. The facility is cozy and doesn't have a huge number of residents which gives it more of a "homey" vibe instead of a cold hospital type environment. The rooms were very clean and tasteful. They were clean without feeling clinical. The back yard was visible through very large windows in the main area which provided a nice and comforting view. I believe the most important element of any facility is the people and these people are truly kind. The staff is very mature and attentive. The amount of patience they exercised with my father was truly appreciated. In a very short amount of time they feel like family. The location was very convenient for us and there's a fair amount of parking available. I'm so thankful we found them and really couldn't ask for much more.

I was lead to this group home when my Father’s hospitalization lead to the need for a higher level of care than we could provide. The owner was gracious to give a tour at 7:30PM. We were impressed by the cleanliness and was ready to commit. One week later, my Father says he is HAPPY there.
