My mom moved into The Crossings at Eastchase. Right now, they don't have a way for the people who have family there. You have to punch their button to get in and wait for somebody to open it for you. It was very inconvenient. They do prepare a lot of special meals, like for diabetics and all that. Their security is very good. The rooms were quite clean. They keep things cleaned up and straightened up. They have very nice employees, too. I like how they have the dining room set up. They have it right next to the community area, so it's easy to get to, especially for memory care. They've had a lot of music stuff. They do have activities. I just haven't seen the schedule myself. The cost is comparable.

My mom-in-law moved into Independent Living 2 years ago and has now transitioned into Assisted Living. The entire family is very pleased with the entire facility. The staff are remarkable people who truly care for each resident. The apartments are roomy and very nice. The food is much better than most facilities and the menu is varied each day and they have several standards daily. We would definitely recommend The Crossings to everyone!!!

Mom moved into The Crossings at Eastchase. At the current time, we do not have any negatives. The staff is very knowledgeable, and very caring. They really and truly do go above and beyond to help in the transition to make the residents feel more comfortable because it is a huge change. And especially since I live four hours away, I can't be there every day. My sister has been there almost every day since mom moved in just to help ease the transition. They have met every need or request that Mom has had of them. Mom has not complained about anything. The staff in the dining room pays very close attention, and they get to know their people, they get to know the residents. And they have been, getting to know my mom. And they pay close attention to how she is eating. And if she doesn't eat very much at a meal, they immediately ask her, why did she not eat the food. Would you like them to get her something else? They keep a close eye on that to make sure that she's not going to stop eating, because mom is kind of picky and, apparently that's normal for a 90-year-old, according to them. And they would say, "What we have on the menu for lunch today, for our special is usually something you don't like. Would you like to try it or would you like to try something else? " And sometimes they will go ahead and bring her something that they know she likes alongside something new, just in case she doesn't like the new thing. So, they are very attentive. They are very helpful. Mom is walking a lot more than she was at home. The first few days, somebody always walked with her. She's not very strong, and the door to her apartment is pretty heavy. So, a lot of times when one of the caregivers sees her walking around, if she looks like she's headed back to her apartment, they just join her, walk with her, and they open the door for her because it's so heavy for her. Out of everything that we looked at the reviews that we checked and the places that we visited, there was absolutely no other place that we considered other than The Crossings. The facility is spotlessly clean. They clean my mom's apartment once a week, but they come in every day, take out her trash, and check on things. And if something needs to be tidied up or cleaned up their right, they just do it. They don't wait. it's not a specific time frame, but they check on them frequently throughout the day and at night.

I am a resident at the Crossings at Eastchase. I like the activities here, meeting new people, the transportation benefits, the library, and the movie theater. The staff here is just wonderful. They are dedicated and very kind. They have a nice dining roomand the food is good. The dining room is very comfortable with plenty of room to sit wherever you want and with whomever you want. The only suggestion I have is they should have more dining room staff.

The Crossings at Eastchase is very large, and there's multiple floors. The rooms were nice and fairly large. You had to navigate quite a few hallways, turns, and elevators, depending on where you live, to get from the dining room to your room, or to the door to outside. It just felt massive. I got lost following the lady who was taking us around. I had no idea where we were at all, so it was just very large. The staff who gave me the tour, she was very nice and friendly. The residents that we saw passing in the hall were very friendly. We really didn't see any other staff. The dining area was not that large. I was surprised at how small of a dining area there was for that large of a building. They didn't leave me with any impression, really. They had a fair amount of activities, but not every day. They did have exercise; I remember seeing that on a calendar that we passed in the hallway on a board. They have a few outings a month, but not something planned every day, and hardly anything on weekends. So, it was like you're on your own kind of thing.

My mother moved into The Crossings at Eastchase. It's a wonderful place. It's not just a set food. They have a menu and they can request anything they want if they don't want something on the menu and it's nice. Any time she pulls the cord, they come rushing right in there, or even if it's not a wash day, all she has to do is say she wants something washed and they wash it. They bring out her breakfast every morning and they don't charge extra for it, since breakfast is earlier than she wants to get out. They're just very, very nice. The facility is only one year old, so it's immaculate, and it's a very nice place. They have almost everything, crafts. bingo, poker. They have entertainment come in, every week they take them on shopping trips. There's an onsite beauty salon. They have church on Sundays, with a live minister there, they also have streamed in church. There's a minister that preaches at his church in the mornings and comes there and preaches at two o'clock on Sunday afternoons. They have bible study every day, Monday thru Friday. The new director is very nice and very efficient. They have movie nights twice a week.

The Crossings at Eastchase was a beautiful new facility. The staff seemed helpful and the rooms were in great shape with all the modern conveniences. Since it's a new facility, there's not a lot of people there yet, so I don't know if they have a lot going on. That's actually why my mom, too, didn't pick it, but for me, it's my first choice. I really liked it because it was such a nice new facility. Everything was brand new and in perfect working order, and the staff seemed good. It seemed like a great place and I liked the fact that it had all three levels together. They had a movie theater, libraries on every floor, which was pretty nice, and game rooms. They're going to have a functioning bar with happy hour, which I thought would be pretty nice too. The dining area was more like a restaurant and it was very clean with white tablecloths.

Wonderful facility. One of the biggest facilities I have toured. Everyone in the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Even the residents I met were wonderful. I was immediately greeted by a lovely woman at the front desk who helped me sign in, check my temp, and gave me a bottle of water. The rooms are brand new and very spacious. I was introduced to Chef Trey who offered me a meal along with my tour. Amanda showed me their movie theater, fitness room, and she said they would be having a pub to order food and drinks at. I really enjoyed the visit, thank you guys at The Crossings.
