"Greenville Memory Care was a nice place. I was impressed with the fact that both my parents could be together in the same place. It looked like a good friendly place. My father is more of an outdoorsy person, and they didn't have a lot of staff to take them outside. It was also really noisy, so I don't think they would have been happy there. They had a nice porch. The staff were all nice. It was a really friendly atmosphere, and everybody was really nice. As far as that goes, it was good."

"Lake Haven Assisted Living was a smaller complex. The individual rooms all have the same size. They also had a small dining area and a little recreation room with a piano. It is located on the lake so they have areas where the residents can sit outside and look at the lake. They have groups that come in every so often and entertain the seniors. So, they have a lot of community involvement. They have card games, bingo, and they do little chair exercises. It's also located in a small town. So, it's a real family-type atmosphere."
