I'm using Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach. They're friendly, reliable, punctual and relieves my worry as a daughter. My mom is full care. She needs everything. They do continent care because she has accidents now, but they're very clean and make her feel OK about it. They help with bathing, they drive my mom to the store so she's able to walk around some using a shopping cart, medication reminders and shopping. They actually pick up things as needed. Sometimes I can't get away in time to get the basics and they don't mind at all. They're very punctual. Billing and scheduling are absolutely wonderful. In my case, I had to go out of town for a weekend, and I just let them know a couple of weeks in advance and they were able to get that time covered for mom. I didn't worry. They provide you with cards for everybody. I had called the nurse on several different occasions to help update the list and it was updated that day. She was busy, but she called me back within the hour and was able to update mom's list. The scheduler, Rashema, is just a doll. She is always able to keep me posted. If something is going on, when I ask for another caretaker over the weekend, she kept me posted every couple of days on what the status was. I didn't think I was going to be able to get someone, but she kept on and she kept me posted very well. It's priceless because it is the best investment for our family ever, because we are able to relax and mom has wonderful care.

I like Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach and I love Patty very much. She does everything that I need and she goes beyond that. She does extra things. My son picked her out. Value for money is good. Communication is very good. I have no problem. I'll keep her here forever and ever. She's good all around. I've had it for a good while. She really helps me 100% all the time.

The person I have here now from Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach is definitely a five. She's good. She's prompt. She shows up when she's supposed to. She's just perfect. She's here from 8:30 to 3:00. She takes me to the doctor and to the grocery store and cleans the house for me. Billing and scheduling are good. Communication is good. The agency is responsive.

The caregiver from Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach comes to the house and takes care of my dad. They help feed him, bathe him, exercise, and do laundry. Medicare chose them. The caregivers are excellent, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I'm happy and looking forward to them. I'll give them a three-star on scheduling. Communication with this agency is excellent. They're professional, but they do not have enough employees.

I'm using Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach for my father. I have a good caregiver now three days a week that I really like. They have some good aides. They provide just home health aide a few hours a day. They're not even doing a whole lot for him. It's just sitting with him and assistance with using the restroom. I cook for them. They sit with him, make sure he doesn't choke, and make sure he's eating fine. He can feed himself. The VA is covering these hours, and they're on the VA's list. The current caregiver that we have now is very good. She's attentive, communicates well, punctual, and reliable. Communication with the agency and the caregivers most of the time is good. There's a scheduler that can be kind of rude sometimes, but for the most part, they communicate. They answer the phone. They do well with scheduling.

I commend the performance of Mercia of Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach. She has been absolutely wonderful. She's very good. She's absolutely always doing things that need to be done and helps where you need it. They help with meals, laundry, taking me to doctor's appointments, etc. She's very, very cooperative and pleasant. Communication between me and the agency is excellent.
