I cannot thank Jamie and Paragon Home Care enough for the help they provided my parents during their time of need. Both parents suddenly needed in home assistance and Jamie came for an initial visit less than 24 hours after my initial call. Within 48 hours of the call a kind, professional, competent caregiver was there to help my mom. 24 hours later, my father came home from the hospital and needed assistance and we increased, the number of hours immediately. As my parents slowly improved they worked with us to reduce the caregiver hours safely. Working with the Paragon group has been straight forward and incredibly easy. The caregivers were kind, arrived on time for every single visit, jumped in to help with sensitive bathing and cleaning needs, and adjusted their tasks as the needs changed. I cannot praise them enough for giving a concerned daughter peace of mind.

The weekday one is excellent but the weekend one is not so good. The caregivers could have a greater impact if there were better weekend caregivers. The weekday one is great but the weekend ones are not so great so it would be better if they could all have the same quality care as the weekday person. The agency needs to improve consistency in the caregivers. I have an excellent caregiver and all the rest are not so good.

She was not in a great situation, and I was impressed with the precautions that Paragon took in protecting her and the aides. This was during a very difficult time with COVID-19, but they did such a good job, even with a patient who was contagious.

My Medical Needs: I fell in early January 2019 & had a blood spot on my brain. After few weeks of inpatient, i was told to hire a caregiver to help me. And I went home in wheelchair, for the first time. First Agency - Disappointed I hired another agency recommended by hospital which was disappointing. I told them I needed help walking my dog & there was big miscommunication. One of their caregivers was uncomfortable with dogs & wouldn't help me take my dog out. Called the corporate office & told me that is their policy & I'd have to hire someone as dog walker. Their caregivers were good. Then, I chose Paragon & been happy about my decision. PARAGON - Still using, and I would hire them again. I've told several friends about Paragon. If i was hiring caregivers for my children, family, no question I'd use Paragon. My schedule sometimes fluctuates due to medical appointments, etc. To me they've been flexible. Services provided They provided me caregivers who helped me With daily grooming, mobility, running errands (grocery run),, drive me to medical appointment, cleaning clothes, dishes, & my condo. I didn't know they would do all that. I'm a new client & hope I'm not over exuberant. Just sharing my experience which has been good in a difficult time in my life. For me, my continued recovery wouldn't have been this far without their help.
