The individual that works with us is excellent, but the support for her and the confusion by the staff at times is not the greatest. She really does her job and supports us. She is very good at getting along with my loved one and helping her.

Care Advantage cares about my dad. I like the attitude of the nurse and that she is so sweet. I like the caregiver who comes out every day. We are able to go on with our lives after my father's stroke, and they take care of his needs, which can be challenging.

I have had four different caregivers in my house and I don't want to have so many different caregivers coming. There was a caregiver that I liked, but she got assigned to someone else. They did a lot of things for me that I can't do like vacuuming and scrubbing. The caregiver was a big help, she knew exactly what to do for me after her first shift.

The last caregiver that I used was awesome. They have been there when I have needed them and they have done what they need to do. The person that signed me up said that they had a perfect match, but the caregiver could hardly get up my stairs. The client can hardly walk on their own, so that seemed dangerous.

Care Advantage was very good, we had a wonderful caregiver. I could trust the caregiver and go out. I left my husband with her and was able to go out which I hadn't been able to do in a long time.

I would like the caregivers to leave their cell phones and help me with housework. Some days my caregivers go over and beyond and some days they do nothing.

I don't have a problem with the service. My problem is that people don't come on the weekends when they are supposed to, and there is no explanation as to why they don't come. I am recuperating from a stroke, so it is a lot easier to have someone come in and watch me.

The only problem I'm having is that sometimes I don't get a call when they're sending a new person, so a new person just shows up. I don't have to worry about things when I'm out or at work. If anything were to happen the caregiver knows my number and gives me a call.

They need to have better staff and more supervision of their people. They need to have more skilled and trained caregivers they need to be able to fulfill the demand that they have created. When they cannot fulfill the order, they need to staff my mother wit someone and they have not been able to do that. It causes me to lose money and miss appointments that are important to my life.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I apologize that you have experienced issues with coverage. All of our caregivers are certified nurses aides or personal care aides, in addition, we offer 12 condition specific training to all caregivers, along with monthly in-services. If you speak with a member of our office team, we could perhaps have the registered nurse come out and work directly with the caregiver assigned to provide your mother's care. This would enable a more tailored approach to ensure that going forward you can be completely satisfied with the services that you receive. We do appreciate your confidence in providing care for your mother, and will work hard to serve you better in the future. Thanks again for your comments, it is appreciated.

They are dependable, but they didn't use to be. When a nurse would call out they didn't have one to replace them. They have helped with my walking and my personal care.

They're on time, and they treat my aunt with respect. They do what they're supposed to do. The nurse is right there when she gets right up. She makes sure that she has her breakfast and that her bed is made. I have to go to work.

It would have been different if they would have told me the caregivers were new. It put stress on me. Care Advantage should have communicated with me and told me what was going on with their company before sending people to my house.

If I hadn't been there, my loved one wouldn't have been cared for. The caregiver did almost nothing. I was doing the same work I did before she came and even more.

The only reason that I use Care Advantage now is because of one of the caregivers that they send. They are inexperienced. The people in the past never showed up and things like that. It has been difficult because of circumstances. I do not like the rate that they want to propose. I cannot give the extra money that they are proposing.

They do their job and they are kind. I know that I have a really good person. The way it is now is much better than it was because my caregiver has plenty of responsibilities of her own, and they include taking care of me since I can't walk.

I was told that they can get caregivers here on a varied schedule, but now it's not as they said. We don't have consistent caregivers. I would like them to line up somebody to come for Tuesdays and Thursday mornings, but they couldn't find anyone for these days.

They try to do their best to send people out to me. The caregivers are pretty good at taking care of me. They do a lot of things for me that I can't do anymore, I have really bad arthritis so I can't use my hands a lot.

I had a couple of girls that didn't work out good and I called and now I have a girl that I like and I also like the way she works. They help me so much because my leg aches. I like to have a clean house and other different things that I can't do.

It all depends on the caregiver that comes to my house. Some are very good and some are very poor workers. When good workers are here they help my life out a lot, but when poor workers come it makes my life pretty difficult.

There have been some absolutely wonderful caregivers both times that I have used the service, but there have also been some very poor caregivers. It has been extremely varied. The best part of what they provide is companionship, but they also keep us alerted to any medical concerns.

They could send adequate aides to me, be more organized, communicate better with us, and give us professionally trained caregivers. They are not consistent with coming out, and they don't inform us an aide isn't coming until after they should be here.

The Chesapeake nurse supervisor didn't show up, didn't call to let me know that she wasn't showing up, didn't answer my call when I phoned her an hour after she was supposed to be here, and I still haven't heard from her. Office scheduler frequently does not tell client when aide will be late or not coming. Notice needs to be at least a day in advance to plan for other appointments, order for rx pick up, and grocery pick up. Not able to take a nap when expecting aide, but I couldn't do so because I've been expecting visits from Care Advantage all afternoon. Instead of preventing stress and making life easier, it is disruptive, especially for people with disabilities and in pain. How difficult is it to assign someone the responsibility to plan arrivals in advance?

This is the second time I've used Care Advantage. I also used them when Edna broke her hip two years ago. I think I needed someone really quick, and I had the paperwork from Care Advantage. I think matching us with the caregiver made all the difference.

I only had one good caregiver from Care Advantage, and the one that I have now is not very good. When I had the first caregiver, everything was going so well and now the caregiver does not know anything that I need her to know. She is also on her phone all of the time.

I don't like the app that Care Advantage has, I don't like the caregivers bringing their cellphones, and Care Advantage has just not gotten our schedule right. With how many times we go through schedule you think they would get it right. They make it more stressful.

I wouldn't recommend Care Advantage because it has to do with accommodating the hours I needed. I have little to no motor skills, so I can't cook. I can't flip things or stir things. I don't walk, and I can't push a vacuum.

We've been with Care Advantage for a couple years, and the care has been spotty. Usually we have trouble on the weekends with getting staffing. A lot of times they'll say they have a caregiver that is scheduled, and they usually don't show up. For the last five weekends, no one has showed up. If the caregivers don't show up, it's very impactful. I can't plan anything. There were times that my daughter would have an event and we would buy tickets, and we couldn't do it. The fact that they're not reliable is impactful. As far as an impact on Robert, having an aide is very positive.

Care Advantage doesn't send you the same caregiver on the weekends. Generally, they did a good job keeping the caregiver the same during the week. The services helped the most by being with my mother so that I could run errands. They kept my mother company.

Care Advantage kept losing the paperwork and the administration was not responsive. The services were distressing because the caregivers couldn't help me. The administration of Care Advantage could have squared away their paperwork and sent the caregivers. That would have made things a lot better.

I would probably refer Care Advantage to others. However, my biggest issues are with caregivers that regularly don't show up for scheduled appointments, and the office staff is also difficult to communicate with over the weekends. The services with Care Advantage could improve by letting me know whether the caregiver is arriving this weekend. Additionally, calls to the local office result in a list of names of people without any indication of their department. I've requested that this be fixed, but no work has been done on this regard.
