About a year ago we had someone from Care South for my sister who was in an assisted living facility. It was not a good experience. She had a spot on her that had been irritated -- very red and inflamed. I took her to the doctor who was very concerned and said she needed to have a wound specialist come to treat it until it was better. They were supposed to provide wound care, but they spent most of their time signing me up for the whole program. Sometimes they didn’t come in when they said they would. One time, they came to my house when it was clear the patient was not here because she was at the assisted living home. One of the people that came in was not very friendly at all. I was very disappointed in them. I used them for a two- to three-month period, but I finally just dismissed them.
