"Happier at Home is a wonderful home health care agency and I can not say enough about them. They were a wonderful fit for our situation. From our first phone call to Trent and then with Deanna who schedules the aides , they were wonderful. Over the approximately 3 months we used Happier at Home I called Deanna in the evening, the early morning and many times in between and she was always able to help out and fill my request. We first contacted them on a Friday when we had to unexpectedly let go an aide we had hired privately. Deanna was able to get us aides in place for the up coming Monday. Their aides have been background checked, are certified nursing assistants, are covered by the agency's insurance and were always on time. We had Latoya, Barbara, Marie and Keke, who were all wonderful and more than willing to do whatever was asked of them! First and foremost they provided an extra set of eyes on my loved one. They also provide her with companionship, they cooked for her, fed her, bathed her, tolieted her, gave her her medications, helped with going to Dr. appointments, cleaned, emptied the garbage, made out a grocery list for me and let me know if there was anything I needed to be aware of. These ladies genuinely love their job. Happier at Home gave me piece of mind during a difficult time. I would and will recommend them to anyone needing home health care aides. When my relative first needed care we decided to hire privately and to be honest I would not do that again....we experienced too many problems. I was very pleased with Happier at Home and their professionalism. My loved one recently went into a nursing facility and I was sorry to have to say goodbye to this wonderful group of people. "Some of the aides from Maxim Healthcare Services are very good. The problem is if they come on time. Today, my aide was supposed to come at 9:00. I called, and they said they didn't have an aide for me. I was headed outside at 12:00, and all of a sudden an aide knocked on my door. They come when they want. One of the aides would be on the phone when they're not supposed to be on the phone because they're working. We've been using them since the end of December. There's just lack of communication with them. "

"From the beginning, it looked pleasant. We visited on a Sunday in mid July and there were people mingling around, which was nice. There were elder people in the back sitting in the shade enjoying themselves. The facility is all contained within a building, so you get an idea of what the conditions are pretty quickly. I was impressed at how clean and modern the public corridors were. That is in contrast to many similar places that are hotel/motel like and left in dingy status.The room itself was on the second floor and was spacious considering she was living alone. There was a quaint kitchen and room to maneuver from the living room to the bedroom. Her living room had a sliding glass window to a mini balcony with a view of the surrounding area. Having not actually encountered employees (we were buzzed up), I can't state an opinion about them. But everyone I saw personally appeared happy, which says a lot. "
