There were some who were great at what they did and others who couldn't care less. It got to the point where I had to ask them to do things. They weren't assisting mom, weren't helping her bathe, or helping her change her clothes. Others were really great at doing those things. The service provided by the individual caregivers was not always consistently even. They didn't have the same quality of care from one to the next. With some all they wanted to do was sit on their phones, but others would help my dad with dinner.

I will have things written down in the book for the caregivers, and they don't look in it because they don't follow what it says.

Saturdays and Sundays seems to be a challenge to find consistent people. For our family, it would help to have the same person every time on the weekend. I would like them to improve the level of consistently in terms of training the caregiver. I would like them to understand the need of my loved one and send someone who is trained to meet their needs.

It was basically like they weren't there because they would sit and watch TV while my mother was bedridden in another room. They could have performed the services they were hired to do. I had them there to help my mom get a bath, but they didn't do any of that. They said that my mother would say no, but they needed to prod her a little bit.

It helps me do a lot of things that I can't do anymore. They help me physically and help around the house. They work with their customers well, and fill the slots that need to be filled. I didn't ever have to be told somebody wasn't coming.

She was so happy when the caregiver was here. She was good company for her. They worked so well with me. We were not really happy with the first couple of people and they worked with us to find someone that fit perfectly with my mother.

My husband and I weren't able to provide the care that they needed, and the agency enabled us to have my parents in our home. They were dependable and the staff was very helpful. My parents liked the staff and they felt comfortable with them.
