They hire unskilled workers who spend most of the time sitting or eating. No bathing. Minimal cleaning. One girl was sick and though it was appropriate to listen to speakers on Spotify that condemned white people which I perceived as offensive. Her replacement was better and although she doesn't deserve $29 hr, she's nicer and tries to cook meals which my elderly grandfather seems to enjoy. The supervisor never checks on the situation nor does she answer the phone.

We got Visiting Angels for my father and we've been very pleased. They provide anything your loved one needs help with, whether it's freshening up the bathroom, changing the linen, medication reminders, or they can run little errands. The caregivers are kind and professional.

Right now I'm staying home and I have hired some help to come in and help me. I have hired Visiting Angels. They're excellent. I used them in the past and so I decided to try them again. The caregivers are excellent. Sometimes I have the same caregiver for two or three days in a row. Sometimes I have a different one; it depends on who is available. The agency is great. I don't have anything that they need to improve on. They provide help with light housekeeping, cooking, errands, and showers. Whatever I ask them to do, they're available. They have excellent service and excellent sitters.
