I chose this place because I used to live there and I'm familiar with the area. They have a lot of amenities. They have the continual service and that's what I was primarily considering. The staff are very friendly.

Harwood Place in Wauwatosa, WI is a fantastic retirement facility. I had a relative that lived there for 5 years and enjoyed everything about it. The staff is friendly, helpful and just wonderful in general. If you needed anything they made sure that it was attended to - even if it was help seeing the thermostat to turn on or off your air conditioning. The dining facilities are top notch too. Every meal that I ate there was just like you were at a restaurant - and you could even order off the menu! When my relative died and I needed to move everything out of the apartment - the staff was there every step of the way helping me with whatever I needed. We even were able to leave a pile of donations in the apartment to be picked up after we left. There is also a hair stylist that comes to the salon right on the premises. WE really utilized this salon! There is also private garage parking available in the underground garage which is really nice for not having to be out in the weather when going to the car.

The staff was very helpful. It was actually my girlfriend's grandpa who ended up having to stay here. Whenever we would visit him, he would always comment on how great the place was and how friendly people were. Also, the food was very good. The place was also very tidy. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone.
