My mother is going to Garden Terrace. We loved it. The staff was very nice and very informative. It was a very nice facility. Everything was wheelchair accessible. Her room has very nice views out of the window, it's very accommodating, and she got walk-in showers. They have a lot to offer. The outdoor is very nice, and the yard is well kept. She has a balcony that she can go sit out on and enjoy the fresh air. The scenery is nice.

I live at Garden Terrace. They used to be an assisted living facility, but I am not on assisted. There is a program called self-supportive independent living and that's what I am. I get all the services that assisted living people get. I get help in personal care like housekeeping, laundry, and combing sometimes. I am physically disabled, and this is very spacious. I am in a wheelchair. This one has a very huge bathroom. It used to be 24-hour service and I can ask for help in 24 hours if I need it. You really cannot expect 100% good people. They're good in their work, but there is some downside to it. The only difference between my program and assisted living is the food. I don't eat in the dining hall. I eat in my apartment. I eat what I want so I don't pay for the food. They have very few activities. The place is suited for me; it's very spacious. I have visited a place where in the hallway only one wheelchair can go at a time so you cannot fit another wheelchair. This one is very spacious. You can have the two wheelchairs in the hallway. They have an exercise room and a person that cleans it every day. Every room has its own price. Where I live, it is fitted for me. The value is very good. Garden Terrace is a peaceful place, not much trouble all around.

Garden Terrace was very nice. The heating is included, and there is a store inside the place. They serve you lunch at the dining room. The room was very nice with a walk-in shower, which was also very spacious.

I am in Garden Terrace. I chose it because it is very new. It is only about 5 years old, and it is very nice. The activities are fine, and the assistance/help that I have is great. The rooms are big and nice. The staff is nice. They have bingo. They take us on shopping trips. We have a movie every Thursday. The surroundings are very nice. The apartment itself is terrific. I love it. I have a big living room, a kitchen, a big bedroom, and a huge bathroom.
