I toured Wellington Place of Hartford. It was not a place that would work well for me, and the rooms would not work well for me either. The staff were very nice, and the people that I met were very nice, too. The room was clean.

We had an in-person tour of Wellington Place of Hartford. The lady who took us through was very, very nice. When you walk in, there's a nice big fireplace with a sitting area, which is kind of welcoming. We walked into the dining room, and the residents were eating. The kitchen's right off to your left. The place is nice. It's an older building, so it needs some updating. I didn't care for the idea of having to share a room with another person, so that was kind of a downfall because my mother doesn't want to share with anyone, which I understand. My first impression was that I was not impressed. It was not very well kept.

Wellington Place of Hartford's general appearance was good. Everything was clean. Some furniture had seen better days, but everything worked pretty well. The staff who toured us around was very helpful, answered questions, and did a pretty good job of explaining what was going on in the facility. We asked the residents about the food, and they said it was good. They had bingo going on when we were there, and they had a chart with all kinds of different activities.

Wellington Place of Hartford was fine, and they have the same things as the community we picked. It was nice and clean, and everything was fine. They had good results and everybody seemed to like the place. The staff members they had were also good.

Wellington Place of Hartford was nice and clean, and the lady who helped us was very helpful. I see nothing wrong with it. The rooms were nice-sized, and the community area was nice and large.

Wellington Place is one of our top choices and it is very clean. The residents seemed very well cared for. They gave us a wonderful tour and provided us with a lot of information. We thought it was a nice place. The staff is very good. They all seemed to enjoy their work. The rooms were very nice in size and sufficient. We saw the dining area but we didn't try the food though. They have a cook on staff which prepares three meals a day and snacks as requested.

Everything was fine to be honest. I was surprised to see that everything was so clean and people were helpful and interested. I was worried that my grandma was going to be moved into an assisted living facility, but it is what she wanted. And after being there and helping her move I think this is for the better. I didn't think that it would be as clean or have as many people moving around. It didn't seem like a dreary retirement home that I thought such a place would be. Grandma was happy to be there. There is always someone there to help out with whatever issue was at hand. And it is nice to not have to have my uncle go back and forth there to care for her. It was tiresome for him and she wanted to take stress off of him.She enjoys activities with the other residents. I believe they played Wii Sports a short time ago. Which is great, it gets them up and active. Not that my grandma isn't already but communal stuff like that is important. I would like to balance out the comment by saying something negative but I really can't. I was worried about food and care and the room and everything, but there was nothing that made me think that she would be neglected. And that is exactly what we wanted and what she needed.
