My mother moved in and is happy there. She likes that it is in her hometown, so she can maintain her church community and other local friends. She knows some people who live there and likes that it is small and without long hallways because she has a hard time walking. So far, it is absolutely fantastic. They make her feel welcome and are attentive to her health issues. They provide some social opportunities and all three meals and anything that she wants for her snack. The staff is pretty awesome so far. They have a button and come running if she needs something. They offer to put her compression stockings on every morning and wash them out every night. They are giving her particularly good attention. They have a euchre game that she enjoys, prayer service, and Girl Scouts who come and serenade them; she loves children. She can have her hair done there. They have a valentine project starting now.
