I am/was a resident of this facility

From the hospital, I was put to Merit Care AF and didn't realize that it was a place for people with dementia. I could talk to them, but it doesn't make sense most of the time. It was run by a bunch of Kenyan people and I couldn't talk with them either or communicate. The owner's name is Dan, and he would hire his relatives and some of them said they had no working experience. It was terrible. The food was just terrible, too. Dan had his relatives cook for them when they never cooked before. They had one fellow there that was real bad. We called him coach, he was an ex-coach in football, and he had really bad dementia, so at night he would get up and walk around and try to get outside. They would actually stack furniture in the front living room against the doors so he couldn't get out, and if there's a fire, we couldn't get out either. It was bad. It was kept clean, though. They were good at taking care of my apartment.
