A Big Heart is a brand new facility. They are just getting started; they only have 2 residents so far, and they have just welcomed us. It is just short-term respite at this time, they are happy to do that for us, and eventually it may turn into full time. I would absolutely recommend them. They are just fabulous -- absolutely wonderful people. What I like best is probably about how flexible they have been in offering alternate services. We visited two other facilities, but this was the only one that we came back to and actually spent time at. Everything is fresh-cooked. They try to do a lot of organic foods, and everything is prepared from scratch. They have their own garden, they pick their own produce, they have fruit trees, and they have just been very wonderful so far.
