They provide great care! My 98 year old Mother believes she works at her facility … the Mukilteo Memory Care in the PNW. I often find her sitting at or around the nurses’s desk. When we walk around, she will stop and take a pulse or two or call a caregiver over to help a resident. If the staff are laughing together at the desk, she will reprimand them about their loud and unprofessonal behavior. She will show or tell the nursing staff the “proper” way to do things. Although her methods are outdated, the nursing staff seem to listen attentively. One of the nursing staff told me she appreciated knowing how things used to be done. So, in October, I nomonated my Mother, who was voted Employee of the Month. Last week (her third year anniversary at the facility) about 15 to 20 members of the staff and several residents gathered around to acknowledge Mom. Everyone clapped for my Mother. My Mom was so happy. When asked for a speech, Mom said, “This was unexpected. I never thought you all appreciated me!” Isn’t this the level of care you would want for your loved one?

What sets this facility apart from others is the supervision by Staff. The employees are around and take a personal interest with the residents. The staff is also available and accountable to the families. Thank you all.

Thousands of dollars we pay for care and they lose my fathers clothes and put other residents clothes in him. I’m furious! They do not get him to exercise and looks like he just sits in his chair all day. They do not encourage hydration.

The staff is excellent with their care for the residents. Having a nurse practitioner on site is excellent for care. They have an agreement with my mom’s retirement home where they bring her to see my dad every week. They treat my dad like he is a king.

I would rate Mukilteo a five, that's why I picked them. The rooms were very nice and clean. The one thing that was actually important to me was their landscaping. Mukilteo is a lot brighter because it doesn't have as much overgrowth of landscaping. The area outside has more sunlight; it is brighter. I was impressed with the staff. They were professional. Overall, the place was clean and tidy, and I talked to the chef too. I do plan to move my client there at the end of the month.
