My husband is a resident of Armaki Adult Family Home. It's close to where I live in Bellevue and still in the same county, King County. It is owned by a nurse who checks his blood sugar three times a day because he's an insulin-dependent diabetic and he's on a sliding scale. They cook home-cooked meals there for him. He gets his bath and showers. He gets a chance to do some activities like going to the YMCA. There's a bus that takes him there. He goes about two to three times a week. He can still get the bus to go to his doctor's appointment to meet with his primary care doctor. It's small. They only take about six people. So, it's not overcrowded. He does have the little bell around his neck. If he needs to go to the bathroom or get some water, he can press that button, and they'll come right away. It's a quiet place. It's friendly. The people are nice and professional. That's what we like about it.
