The staff at Colonial House were stellar. I met two of the nurses and they were not only extremely professional but also put in the effort to create a comfortable atmosphere. My Grandfather has Alzheimers and was having trouble staying lucid during the initial stages, but the care given to him as he was acclimating to medication helped get him to the point where he could eventually move back in with my Grandmother. The facility itself is set up like a large house which has the benefit of not seeming like a hospital, however the building was in need of renovation. The monthly price was around $3000, which to me seemed high given the physical state of the facility. Nevertheless the cons were clearly just cosmetic, because my Grandfather ultimately received great care during his stay.
