Our friends are residents of Patriots Colony at Williamsburg. They're very good. It's easy to travel around. It's well-lit. It's safe. It's gated. It's beautifully landscaped and they have nice amenities and so forth. I think it's great. The place is immaculate. The staff, when we drive by, they wave. We've never had any direct contact with staff, but our friends say that whenever they call for maintenance or anything, they're there within 24 hours. They do serve food, but we've never eaten with them, but our friends, they all go. They all go there and they say it's good. They serve wine at dinner and everything. The ones that we have visited have some rooms and then they have a den, a living room, and a dining room. They have two bedrooms, two beds, and a kitchen. It's a small kitchen, but the refrigerator, dishwasher, and trash compactor, it's well and nice. The woodwork and everything else are upgraded. It's top-end. They take them on trips. I've seen tennis courts. It was expensive for them to buy into that and for the square footage that they have. It's not small, but I just thought you didn't get that back.

I was a patient in the rehab department of Patriot's Colony 2 times following leg amputations. It is the best place. Great care, awesome staff, Great food, good PT, OT, etc. It was like staying at a five star resort. Better than the other rehabs I've been to.

I was in Patriots Colony at Williamsburg. I lived there for ten years. When I was there, they hadn't closed down because of the virus. The only reason I left was because my wife died, and I felt like I needed to be nearer to my son. We had an activity coordinator who planned activities a month in advance. We went on bus tours to different places, we went on water rides, and we went to art museums. There was something to do all the time, which I miss, but I can also understand why we can't do that now. I started out in a two-bedroom apartment but moved to a one-bedroom when my wife passed away. The food was excellent. I don't think any place can beat the cleanliness of the Patriots. They would spend a lot of time making the place clean and neat. The staff was always available to help and always asking if they can do anything for you. I'm extremely pleased with them, and I'd still be there if it hadn't for my wife passing away.

My sister was in rehab at The Convalescent Center at Patriots Colony for a short time. It was really nice. The staff as a whole was very good. There were a couple of incidents that needed addressing, but they were resolved. The food was pretty good. She did both physical and occupational therapy.

My husband was staying at Patriots Colony at Williamsburg. He was in their nursing facility and he later was in hospice there. They have a memory care facility as well. They have everything there. Everything seemed to be very nice and well taken care of. The people were very friendly, but like most nursing homes, the residents don't really get a lot of attention, especially immobile people like my husband. They leave you on your own most of the time. At first he really liked the food, but he got tired of it. I thought the food seemed to be really nice.

Patriots Colony at Williamsburg's staff is fine. They have convalescent care and assisted living, and they have private apartments coming up. The apartments were OK compared to others that I have visited. At the time, we were only looking at single bedroom apartments in assisted living. It's convenient because it's just a short ferry ride away.

Patriots Colony at Williamsburg was an elegant place, and the staff is very attentive. It has a fairly large entry fee. It's in a hundreds of thousands of dollars. I have eaten there several times, and the food is very good. They offer 2 meals a day, and the dining area is very upscale. There were many activities, and they had card rooms, libraries, and many planned events. I think it's an outstanding place. They have a nursing home and rehabilitation.

I visited Patriot's Colony on several occasions. I have visited my grandparents for holiday dinners, birthdays, and anytime I'm passing through and have the time to stop. They rave about the community here. Whether it's weekly card games, gardening, or golfing, residents find ways to stay active. I particularly enjoy the mixed community - they have retirement condos, assisted living apartments, and a nursing home. I think having all three in one place makes the community more vibrant and makes the transition to more intensive care easier on residents and families.Additionally, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They know more of the residents by name and are excited to meet member of the resident's families. I have never encountered poor service there in my 5 total visits. They manage to balance healthy options for those with strict dietary needs with high quality standard fare you'd expect to find in an average restaurant. They also have a rotating menu, which is nice for the residents.

I thought that the facilities at Patriot's Colony were quite nice and impressive. It was clean, new, and well maintained. The residents received a lot of attention from the different staff members and nurses that worked there. Members of the assisted living area often helped and performed services for the members of the dementia unit. Those living in the dementia unit had certain days where they would go to hair appointments, get their nails done, etc. Residents also did exercise sessions that were led by a staff member. Other activities that I saw the residents participate in included games such as bingo, arts and crafts, and watching movies. All of my interactions with the staff members were very positive. They were all very friendly both with me and the residents at the facility. Whenever the residents needed help the employees were available to help them. Some of the residents were highly functioning while others were not yet all of them received the attention they needed. The facility was also very secure so that the residents with dementia could not leave without being accompanied by a member of the staff since a lot of the residents were in the very late stages of dementia.
