My wife is in Brightview Great Falls. She is in their assisted living. The people there are very caring and competent. The staff are very caring and efficient. The food is very good. My wife loves it. The facility's cleanliness is very good. They have a regular schedule of doing different things between cleaning the room and laundry and all the other stuff that they do. I went to an activity there yesterday and it was outstanding. A guy was giving a lecture on Bob Fosse, and they had films and were showing different things that he was connected with as a dance expert. They're all very friendly and usually glad to see me whenever I visit.

I was very impressed with Brightview Great Falls. We liked it there. It's a beautiful facility and very well maintained, and the staff seemed very energetic, kind, and caring. The unit seemed comfortable. I toured a one-bedroom apartment, and it had a very large bathroom. It seemed like a decent size. It's an assisted living facility, and the idea is that you eat all of your meals outside of your apartment, so the kitchen was just a microwave and a refrigerator. It doesn't have a full kitchen, which is partly why we chose not to move forward there. They had a very impressive assortment of activities each day. I was there at lunchtime, so I didn't witness any activities. However, I got a copy of their activities list and there are somewhere around four or five different activities happening every single day. They have like a coffee bar and an ice cream bar. They have happy hour, they had physical therapy on-site and occupational therapy on-site, they do regular fitness classes for anyone who wants it, and they have a movie screening room where they would show movies and lectures. I think if my parents were less able to get around on their own and required more help, then I would have not hesitated at all to make a reservation for them to stay there.

Brightview Great Falls is a great place. I am very impressed with it. They have full assisted living and memory care facilities. It is fantastic, and it would have been a wonderful place for my parents. I have been doing research and it seems to be average in price. They have fantastic facilities, the food is wonderful, and the services are really great. They really take a well-rounded approach making sure that there is physical activity, mental stimulation, and great food. It seems great all the way around. It is a wonderful place. The staff is wonderful, too. We met with the director and she was very personable. She explained everything, she was very patient, and she took us on a tour. They have a variety of rooms and they seem typical. The memory care is much smaller than their assisted living. The assisted living is more like an apartment, but the memory care doesn't have a kitchenette. It is basically just a room with a small living space and a bathroom. The place is really nice and very beautiful. It doesn't seem overwhelming and it is absolutely gorgeous inside. It is like living in a five-star hotel.

Brightview Great Falls was very good, but my mother required a two-person assist, and they said they wouldn't do that. The food was good and they had a lot of choices, but their family day food was always so much better than their every day food. Their activities were the best, and they had the most engaged staff as far as activities and other things. The staff was great, but they didn't have a high enough staff to patient ratio.

The visit at Brightview was very nice. It was larger compared to my current community. They have a great team of doctors, nurses, and so forth. They present very well and the location is good.

Brightview Great Falls was fabulous and almost more like a resort than a living community. The rooms are ordinary and not huge, but everything else is extraordinary. The residents can order off a menu, and they can come at any time. They don't have a closed time for meals, so that was very impressive. Their activities and trips were off the chart, and they have an activity director who just manages all those things. We walked in at 10:00 in the morning, and there was a sing along with a piano going on at that time. The facility is big, spacious, very well-furnished, and has a beautiful outdoor space which is quiet and has lots of trees, plants, and shrubs, so it really is a gorgeous place.

I visited Brightview Great Falls and it's beautiful. It felt more like a country club than an assisted living home. Lovely. It's mixed assisted living and memory care people and dementia people. It's a beautiful place. The food looked great, we were visiting when they were serving dinner, and it felt like we were in a restaurant. They were even serving non-alcoholic wine so the residents would feel like they were drinking wine and they had lots of activities. They showed us the activity schedule and we were able to meet the director of activities. The only thing that I didn't like was for dementia residents in particular, it felt like it was sort of an afterthought the way that they put them on one wing on the first floor, so it was kind of like they were almost hiding them away and I didn't like that too much. Otherwise it was lovely. It had a little pretend pub area or tavern, pretend ice cream area, and beauty shop.

Brightview is very accommodating and flexible. When I got here, I was one of the first people here, the staff was new, they are willing to learn, and I was able to introduce rye bread, bagel’s, and cream cheese. There’s something wrong with the morning coffee; it’s very bad, but everything else has been very nice. I have found them to be very willing to try new things and learn, so we’re getting along. They’re willing to accommodate, and they’re willing to learn and try new things.
