My mom moved into Commonwealth Memory Care at Chesapeake a month ago. The people that work there seem like they care about the people there, and they did everything they could to work with us to get her in as soon as possible. The staff is nice to her. The food looks delicious, she's happy with the food, and she's picky. Everything is very clean. She's active, she plays bingo. She's done flower arranging. She's painted pumpkins for Halloween, she's done some other Disney theme this month, and she painted some kind of Disney picture. They have music there and she likes that, and I think she went to the devotional time Sunday morning. So she's happy. They're keeping her busy, and she's enjoying it.
Thank you so much for sharing this experience with families here. We know that choosing the right memory care community is a very difficult decision. I’m SO happy to hear that your mom is enjoying our award-winning dining and activities programs. We love being able to create a supportive lifestyle so that families can get back to being loved ones rather than caregivers. Please reach out to me anytime if there is anything I can do to help. I hope to see you soon.
