My mother has been in the facility for about a month now. Stacy not only provided great assistance before my mother became a resident, but she has also been incredibly responsible and helpful with all of my requests since. She has responded professionally and been proactive with responding to my emails as well as my phone calls. I appreciate everything Stacy has done prior to my mother's admission as well as everything she continues to do. I'm very happy I placed my mother at Chesapeake Place, and I believe my mother will be very happy there!

My sister will be moving into Chesapeake Place Senior Living. She has a unit. It's extremely clean. I had my sister with me on one of the visits, and that was the first thing she noticed. It smelled good, and there was no offensive odor. She said it's nice. It appeared to be safe. Everyone with whom we came in contact was very pleasant and engaging. We're impressed with the activity program that they have for the residents. That's something especially my sister needs. I had overall a very, very good impression of the facility. The staff was very knowledgeable about their job and the facility.

I toured Chesapeake Place Senior Living. It was very clean. Everybody seemed very friendly, and very modern. The rooms are very spacious. The staff was just phenomenal. They showed us the activity rooms. The people that were there seemed to be happy. Their food menu is pretty incredible.

I toured Chesapeake Place Senior Living. The people were remarkable. They were very nice, very helpful, and very informative. They made me feel right at home. They're almost like friends. It was just very comfortable. The central rooms were very brightly lit and pleasant, but when you walk down the hallways going through the apartments, they were kind of dark and depressing. And there was an odor. The staff was wonderful though. They were very pleasant.

My mother has moved into Chesapeake Place Senior Living. It's very nice. It's all on one level. The people are very open and seem to be very friendly. My mother hasn't been there that long, but they have activities, and they have PT and OT. The dining experience is very nice. They're all served based on what they like to eat as far as the dining is concerned. They have some outings. My mom has not been on any yet, but that's something to come. I think all of it works into a very nice package. In terms of activities, they've got everything from bingo to puzzles to music. Once a week they usually have somebody come in and actually play music, whether it's an instrument they bring, and it's all done on a voluntary basis. They invite everybody and people go if they want to go, and if they don't want to go, they don't. Once a month they have somebody come in and do a talk about anything. The most recent one was about Italy, the Italian culture, and music, it was very nice. Everything is clean. They're just kind and friendly people. I feel very comfortable with the folks there.

Our family was impressed with Chesapeake place. The venue feels open, welcoming, with lots of natural light. The staff is very patient, and understanding when we placed our Mother. It took some time for het to adjust to her new environment and routine, and they were very helpful with this transition. We absolutely love our Mothers room!!! I would love to live in a place like this myself!! It’s very clean, functional, updated with a great layout without feeling cramped. I love the natural light. Our Mother enjoys sitting outside in the courtyard and on the entryway porches. Our family was impressed at the monthly menu posted outside of the dining room, and Mom tells us that the food is very good. The variety of activities offered looks fun, and we are excited to try a couple out today. Am grateful for Carolyn, who went out of her way to help us get Mom placed in a timely manner. She was good to take time to answer all our questions. Regina, the nurse director, is very thorough with getting all the medical side of things handled, which gave us reassurance. She was a great source of comfort to us as Mom was acclimating. Love the positive energy of Monica, gentle smiles of Fawn, and calm and serene manner of Ceaser, LPN. We appreciate all that Jerry, the maintenance man, did help get things settled. I love the positive energy and calming ambiance of this facility. It’s truly a place of peace and comfort.

We liked Chesapeake Place Senior Living, because of the proximity to my house and also the price. It's very, very nice and clean. Everybody was friendly. They have activities for their community and there were some nice places outside for the people to go. There were little rooms where they could sit and gather with one another. It was conducive for a friendly community of peers. They have a salon, a very nice dining area, a meeting room where you could have parties, and an area for physical and speech therapy. Part of what's included in what you pay will be laundry every week and housekeeping that comes in.

I went to Chesapeake Place Senior Living. It was very clean, and updated, with a lot of new amenities there. It's just been remodeled. The rooms were pretty nice sized, they seemed clean and organized. They had a small dining area, and when you walked in, it was very pretty, with a sitting area. It was very easy to get to everything. They had a hair place where you can get your hair done, and that was within reach of most of the rooms, so everything was accessible. The staff was very good, very helpful.

Chesapeake Place Senior Living was a lot older than the other place I visited, and the furniture was older. The lady who did the tour was nice, but she didn't know a lot of people's names. I wasn't as impressed. On the other hand, it was cheaper. I guess you pay what you pay for. I toured four or five rooms. They were older, and they didn't have quite the pretty view. The size of the rooms was good. For a lot of people, it would be a nice facility (especially if you have more limited funds). I saw people in wheelchairs doing exercises. I toured both assisted living and memory care. The memory center was in a different section, but the quality of care and the layout were the same (as the assisted living).

My father has been a resident for 4.5 years. He is blind, almost deaf and his mind is slipping. As his condition has declined, he has needed additional care. He is now at the highest level of care in the memory unit. I visit him every day and have the resources to place him in any facility. I have never once, considered moving him to another facility. All facilities have rooms, walls, heat and air-conditioning. What keeps my father here is the quality of the staff and the attention that he receives. I have a white board in his room so that the staff can let me know, without tracking anyone down, his daily condition, did he eat, how much, what is his mood is, any other issues I need to know about. They do this EVERYDAY. I cannot more highly recommend this facility.

My mother-in-law has been in Chesapeake Place Senior Living for three weeks now. It's all on one floor. They're very adaptive to what your needs are. You can go out to the cafeteria to eat, or you can have your food delivered to your room. Any complaint that we've brought up, they have been usually immediately fixed (if not done by within a couple of days). The layout of it is a giant square, so you really can't get lost. The only downside right now is they're in the middle of a remodel. The staff members are very nice, easy to talk to, and understanding. They all seem very experienced. They have an activity room, a puzzle room, and TV. Because of COVID, they stopped their musicians and entertainers coming for a while. They have just recently started that back up. It's one of the cheaper places in the area, but it's still (in my opinion) too much for what it is unless you're on Medicaid and then it's free. Overall the assisted living price around the board for everything is too expensive.

My dear friend was a resident in the Chesapeake Place M/C for a little over a year and just passed away. She was treated with excellent care and never complained. The staff was good to her and grew to love her as well. Bedridden for the last 8 months, her care was excellent. If would recommend this facility. Because of Covid they are having trouble getting qualified staff right now, but the current staff is dedicated and willing to serve double shifts to be sure the residents are cared for and safe.

This place is a nightmare. The care is sub-par at best. The staff is rude and not adequate for the amount of residents that are there. The administration is horrible, they are rude and neglectful . They speak to you as if you are a child. The administrator herself REFUSES to acknowledge any concerns that she allows you to bring to her. She ignores you when you try to contact her, and will not return any calls. The building is going through renovations, but it is not enough to make up for the lack of care that my brother received there. They are not equipped to handle anything except the average elderly person. The cost is ridiculous for services offered. They are very dishonest upon admission regarding services that are offered. Beware of this facility. You will be moving your loved out quickly.

I chose Chesapeake Place Senior Living for my father because the price was better. I was very reluctant to go because it was further away from my house than I wanted it, but the girl that I dealt with there was very nice, and we just felt very comfortable with her. He's moving into the memory unit. You bring your own furniture and you decorate the room yourself. They have shared rooms, but he's gonna have a little apartment to himself. They had an activity board and it had different things that they were going to do. They have a salon where they can get their haircut and everything. He's going to need more care and we're going to have that. He needs more interaction with people. They have a courtyard and he'll be able to do some planting, but somebody will help him win the garden. He always had a garden at home, so he'll be able to do that. They can have visitors out in the courtyard. He needed more care than we could give him and he needed more interaction, so it's going to be the best. We talked to Carolyn and we talked to the head nurse, and they were excellent and answered any question we had. We got to see a duck, and there's a pond that you can't get to but you can see it. Everything was well kept.

My mother was moved into Chesapeake place last year due to location. Since then we have decided that we need to move her again. She is given absolutely no assistance from staff. And when she ask, she is told that they are short. Then never have enough staff to help. She is consistently getting her medications very late again due to staff. While we were on site. I noticed that her room is not being cleaned and the facility has an overall dingy appearance. The staff that they do have is becoming increasingly ruder to residents. I stood and witnessed a resident being chastised for his appearance today. It was humiliating They never have any activities going on. The residents sit outside of the dining room waiting to go in for socialization. We are being limited on the visits that we do have even though other facilities are completely open to the public. My Mother has constant complaints regarding the food, that it is flavorless and not edible often. This facility charges 5 star level of care fees but deliver nothing that they boast they offer.

My mother has moved into Chesapeake Place Senior Living. We chose it because I had a better vibe with them. It was a pretty easy move-in experience. The staff is pretty good and super nice. The facility is well cared for. I like everything, from the staff, to the facilities, to the rooms. Her room is spacious. They have bathrooms in every room, they serve meals three times a day, and they allow the residents to have snacks in their own fridge.

The staff work hard at providing an environment of care and safety. The administrative team is very accessible and responsive. Chesapeake Place has been a Godsend to me, my aunt and our family.

My visit to Chesapeake Place was all right. It was OK, but my mom didn't like it. The staff was very courteous and very professional. The facility was nice to me. It was neat and clean, and it looked like they were practicing safety, so that was impressive to me.

My wife is here. It's clean, the staff is good, and the rooms are good. They have a recreation room, a gymnasium, and they schedule games in the TV room. They have good parking, and they have outdoor seating with nice chairs. They play games and they have singers come in once in a while.

I toured this community. The staff was friendly and attentive to the residents. The lady I had an appointment with was pleasant and helpful. She gave us a lot of information and answered questions we had not even thought of! They gave us lunch (unscheduled)which was wonderful! The studio apartment we are looking at opens to a beautiful courtyard that is going to be perfect for my mother as she loves roses. The Activity Director was helping some ladies bake a cake that smelled amazing. Great experience all they way around!

My experience was very good. The staff was very nice, informative, and helpful; I was very impressed with everyone I met there. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It is not as old as the other facility I went to, and the residents all seemed very content, they had a lot of interaction and seemed to be very happy.
