Very outdated facility smells horrible. Staff is very rude. Staff left patients in soiled sheets for hours. nurse call buttons. Nurses never come. Food dropped off to patients while there in horrible conditions while laying in feces. Think twice about this place.

My mom is at Alexander Hall of Saint James House, and it is very good. The food is not very good though. It is an independent living place, so they don't have a lot of staff, but the nursing home attached to it does. They have the availability of eating in the dining room, and they have activities. They have birthday parties, seasonal parties, and sometimes they have wine tasting. They used to have field trips once a month, but since Covid, they have not.

I'm in Saint James House independent living right now. They have the apartments for independent living, the nursing home, and the assisted living area. The appearance is very nice and the layout is very good. The staff seems very good, and the residents I've talked to really like the place. We have entertainment on Fridays, bingo, and painting class. The food seems pretty good so far. The rent is fair as it could be.

Saint James House was a small, crowded place, and there was something about it that my daughter and I did not like. They did have a lockdown facility, but I didn't see a nurse back there. We talked to the lady who took us on a tour, and she was very friendly and accommodating. It was some things that we saw and the feeling around there that we didn't like. The residents were bored and sitting around doing nothing.
