Everywhere Is Home Residential Assisted Living

I toured Everywhere Is Home Residential Assisted Living. I was kind of skeptical about it because when I drove up, it was just like a regular house. When I entered it, it was very clean. The man who assisted me was the one who owns and runs the place. He has a few nurses who work there, and they are only supposed to have about 7 residents at a time. It can hold up to 8, but he just prefers to leave it at 7, and he puts two people in one bedroom. The place was nice and didn't seem to be that big. It's just a normal home with a kitchen and a bathroom that they remodel so they could put an actual wheelchair in them to bathe the residents. You have privacy when the door is closed, but the bathroom itself is all open. The owner was a very helpful person and really wanted to work with me, but it was out-of-pocket pay and more than I could afford. The people who were there were more like towards the end of life, to me. It's like hospice care, in a way. That's the kind of image I had about this facility. It was a nice place for somebody who needs that type of care. The physical appearance of the facility was just okay. It had beds, a TV, a dining table, and a little living room.

Everywhere Is Home is truly like home for your loved one. The staff is very caring and treat their residents like family. My husband grew to love each and every one of the staff and enjoyed having some of their children come in and even call him “Grandpa” at his request. He loved to interact with the kids. The staff would get him up and put him in the common area where he could watch them cook and of course, offer his ideas. He would often join in singing with one of the caretakers and they would watch his favorite shows together. At holidays, they always threw a party for the residents and their family with great food and gifts all around depending on the occasion. The owner is absolutely wonderful, easy to work with, very caring and he is good to the residents and staff as well. It was always very reassuring to know that the owner was there as well as each of the staff members. I never worried about my husband while he was there. It was a joy to deal with the people there and I too felt like family and still do.

I cannot say enough good things about Everywhere Is Home. Their staff has become like family to us and they take excellent care of my husband. It truly is like home and he is extremely happy there. He requires extra care and I pop in and out at odd times because it’s close to our home and I’ve never had a problem with anything. If you’re looking for a good place with personal attention to your loved one, I would highly recommend Everywhere Is Home.

Can’t say enough about the amazing level of care these wonderful staff provided our dear mother who lived at the residence the final year of her life. Mom had suffered strokes and needed enhanced attentiveness that our family couldn’t provide. We toured the facility and were immediately impressed and felt at ease. After she was accepted we always felt peace of mind knowing that she was cared for by the staff the same as they would take care of their own.

My sister goes to Everywhere Is Home Residential Assisted Living for daycare. It's extremely wonderful. The facility is very clean. The assistance that they give is more than 1 to 1. It's a very small community. The workers are very caring and very attentive. It's wonderful, and she could also live there, so eventually, when that time comes, I will let her be a resident there. They do yoga, games, and puzzles, they give her meals, they do movie time where they have popcorn, and things for her to watch on TV, in nice, little comfortable recliners and blankets if they want. The ladies that work there treat the people like they're family. They have a beautiful yard with flowers, they do gardening with them, and a beautiful patio set where they could sit and read.
