Adult Day Care Communities in Pasadena, TX

"My sister goes to Everywhere Is Home Residential Assisted Living for daycare. It's extremely wonderful. The facility is very clean. The assistance that they give is more than 1 to 1. It's a very small community. The workers are very caring and very attentive. It's wonderful, and she could also live there, so eventually, when that time comes, I will let her be a resident there. They do yoga, games, and puzzles, they give her meals, they do movie time where they have popcorn, and things for her to watch on TV, in nice, little comfortable recliners and blankets if they want. The ladies that work there treat the people like they're family. They have a beautiful yard with flowers, they do gardening with them, and a beautiful patio set where they could sit and read."

"The staff members are competent, professional, caring, and kind as they diligently provide for the physical and emotional needs of the residents. They continously demonstrate patience and respect through many adverse circumstances. This care brings comfort and a sense of peace to family members who are going through this difficult journey with a parent. "

"My great grandmother stayed at this home. It was conveniently located less than a mile from my (my mothers) home. I visited alot and had a large window of time to visit. The county would refer alot of juvenile offenders to volunteer there (children who were found guilty of truancy from middle school, mostly) so there was always something interesting going on during the weekdays during the regular visiting hours for the folks who didn't have regular visitors. The facilities are extremely clean and artsy, mosaics and fountains and well groomed flower gardens. The staff was pleasant, and my Grammas only consistent complaint was that she was in a home instead of AT home (and of course, complaints about other residents who were less than savory.) The volunteers were there 3 days per week, and were only there for social purposes, they would do presentations, do crafts, or (mostly) just socialize. It was hard having my gramma live outside of the house, as far as her feelings on the matter went, but she required more care than we could manage at home. Overall, the place felt good and nobody talked about being exposed to the sorts of horrors that I hear about going on in homes. "

Please find somewhere else to your family members. There is no compassion!! They threaten you about taken them out of their facility due to disagreement, no contact, just disagreement. "
