Mom is at Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. I love that it feels like home. It's modern. I like the staff, the location, and everything about it. They have been exceptional. They are a great team of people and my mom is adjusting well to them. She's very anxious and they work with her to calm her down. They are getting to know her. They involve her with things and keep her active. She feels their warmth and welcome. I ate some of my mom's meals on Sunday and they looked good. She loves the food and is asking constantly for more. She has a good appetite. So, I think the food is pretty good. It's a beautiful facility. I don't know how old it is. I know it was probably built in less than ten years or so, but it's modern, up-to-date, clean, very nice, and well-kept. They do bingo. They dance with them as a part of their exercise. They have a helping hand where if they want to help fold clothes or do little things with their hands, they do that. Last night, they had wine and cheese. Today, they're doing the Thanksgiving dinner for them as well as with family. They've had Veteran's Day lunch and they take them out to Wal-Mart or appointments if they need to. They keep them active. I looked at some other facilities here and they were well over our price, and the facilities didn't look as nice and the rooms weren't as big as the ones in Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. All of their rooms at Vantage Point are private (mom is in a private room). It's beautiful. It's warm, friendly, and at home, and she thinks she's home because she'll sit there with her feet up on the table and say "All you guys come on in". It's very nice and relaxing, and very homely.

My dad is in Vantage Pointe Village. I like it because they're doing more with him even though he's in for memory care, and it's hard to keep the mind activated even though you have dementia, but that has improved a lot. The thing I liked least was they were serving them later than they served the other people, so their food wasn't hot and warm. They offer a salon. I have a nail person come in to clip nails, and a podiatrist comes up there to do that.

I liked the small environment of Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. They have a low turnover rate. They have a lot of resources and they are very accommodating. The facility is very nice, clean, and modern. I have a family member who has tried the food and it's nice. They have a lot of resources. They can come in-house and they provide access to the resources within. You don't have to find them. They bring them to you. They have an outdoor courtyard, PT, occupational therapy, transportation, laundry services, and calendar events.

My brother and sister-in-law moved into Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. They're all settled in. Everything is wonderful. It's been a very good experience. They're very professional, and the actual building is extremely clean. Their room is wonderful, pristine, and one of the best I've ever seen. It has a huge bathroom. They said the food is very good. The dining area is very nice and very updated, almost to the point of elegance. They have bingo, they have people that would come in to play the piano, and they have sing-alongs. There's a Wal-Mart across the street, so they do bus trips over there twice a week. They have activities that take them out for ice cream and stuff like that. They have a gym and everything there.

Beautiful facility and very sweet staff. Management knows her residents and they know and like her I’ve found everyone to be so helpful to me and my Mom. I’ve only had one small problem that was fixed immediately and has never happen again. Very pleased with Vantage Point

My mother moved into Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. Everyone is very nice. They're all very attentive and doing the best they can. Some of the meals are good. My mother stays in her room and goes down to the dining room. Sometimes they just bring her a grilled cheese sandwich and some chips. She only weighs 77 pounds, and she's there to try to gain weight, so that's a concern. The food itself is good. The apartment is clean. They do have lots of activities, like bingo, games, and all kinds of different things. They have multiple common areas on all the floors.

Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City is a place that I wouldn't mind going to myself, so I have chosen it for my husband. I liked how they cared for the people in their memory care unit. I liked everything I saw. I like the service that they provide, the programs that they have put in place, and the future programs that they have planned. The facilities were clean and the place was bright. They have an outside courtyard that they're going to redo and they make renovations periodically. They had a place for them to go outside and it looked like it was well protected. If they have people that come in and say they're a pet lover, they encourage the families to bring pets for their loved ones.

My dad moved into Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. I like the price, the staff seems nice, they're pretty informative, and they provide the care that he needs. His room is fine for someone who's in memory care, he's got laminated floors, a closet, restroom, and I'd say the combination is good. One reason they keep the cost down is like you've got to provide let's say the toilet paper and stuff, but in the end it's pretty easy. They keep you informed of everything that's going on through email or phone if needed. The food looks great, it looks like they have a rotating menu, and depending on diet, like if you need a diabetic type diet and stuff like that. They're on COVID lockdown so they're not really doing any activities right now.

My dad is in Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. He's OK, but they had a couple of COVID cases that come up positive, so they had gone back to phase 1. He needs to get out of his room, and he is finding it hard to be able to handle that kind of pressure of staying in. The whole point of moving him in there would be, so he could be more active instead of staying in the house all the time. He got about one week of being able to walk around, eat dinner in the dining room, things like that, and now all of a sudden, they are quarantined again back in their rooms, so he's kind of getting all irritated and will stir crazy. Dad is not a big eater, but he is impressed with the food, and he says the meals are quite planned. There's a big menu and sometimes maybe for him, it's a little too much, but he's happy with the menu. I enjoy the attention that we get. They usually have at least a couple of people in every floor that you can find in between rooms. They are not hard to find, so if I were to walk up there and visit myself, I would probably walk past at least one of the employees, maybe even more. The staff is very accessible. The dining room is very nice, and they keep them socially distant when they are using it, but right now they are in their rooms.

Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City bothered me. The first floor looked very nicem, and when you go upstairs they have their memory care. It was almost like they had forgotten about it. It needed to be painted and it needed new furniture. It was like a hotch-potch; it was horrible. I wouldn't leave my husband there; I did not like it. The staff member who accommodated me was a bit pushy, too. She was a nice person, but she kept calling me back and calling me back. The dining area was just two different tables and a bunch of different chairs; it was not nice. The people there seemed nice, and the staff seemed very helpful. However, they needed to spend a little bit of money and make the place look inviting. I was very turned off by it. It was the only place that I had problems with.

Vantage Pointe Village is very nice. We ate lunch in the cafeteria, the food is very good and they have nice tablecloths and cloth napkins. The people were very nice and I would highly recommend it. Some of the rooms in the assisted living were very nice while my uncle's room in their memory care were pretty plain. It was nothing fancy, just a room basically. Some rooms that were not in the memory care were decorated with the residents' own furniture which really looked nice. They have a lot of activities as well.

Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City was very good, and the gentleman in charge was very friendly. It was a good experience. We had no complaints whatsoever. It's highly recommended. The staff was very attentive, and the nurses were very good and treated my mother as if she was family. The activities were very good. They kept her busy, and they played bingo with her.

Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City was really nice. The rooms also looked nice, they looked good, and comfortable. The people who assisted me during the tour were fantastic, and they were very helpful with anything. The staff was very impressive. I met some of the folks there, they seemed content, happy, cheerful, and they were very accommodating.

My father-in-law moved into Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City, and it's good. We used the doctor on site, and he adheres to the needs of my dad. The nurses are very responsive, the facility is always clean, but the food choices are not the best. The activities are great, they're scheduled at appropriate times, and they allow the residents to decide whether to participate. They've been very active with the physical therapy that Dad needs.

Vantage Pointe Village reminded me of Opry Mills Hotel. It was really nice. It is a new facility, really clean, smelled good, and had plenty of parking. It was laid out good, the hallways were really wide, and the rooms were really nice. It was an outstanding facility. I wish I could have got Carolyn in there. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable, and she was interested in Carolyn’s status. As a matter of fact, they actually hired the young lady who was Carolyn’s primary caregiver in anticipation of her coming down there. They have a whole bunch of different activity rooms and verandas where they sit out in game rites and all that stuff -- they have a lot of activities. I would give them 100 percent endorsement; it was a nice facility. I am thinking about retiring down there myself.

My visit to Vantage Pointe was great. It's a beautiful facility, but the director was a little bit over the top. It's in an area where there's very little available in terms of amenities for the people and was not in a good location, but it's a great facility.

Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City was a lovely facility, and it was a lovely, knowledgeable lady that showed us around. It’s a year old. Everything is sparkling new and clean. The rooms were very nice. They had nice bathrooms and good closet space. It’s in a rural area, so there are pretty views out the window. There are 2 reasons why I wouldn't select it. It’s a little far from my home. The other thing is that the memory care unit is on the second floor, and it doesn’t really have an outdoor space for anybody to go out and enjoy the day. It has a small outdoor balcony, but it has a real high wall for safety.

Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City was a beautiful place. It?s fairly new, and the whole place is very clean. The rooms were nice-sized, and the people were very nice. The rooms were like apartments; they had separate bedrooms, and I like that. It had a nice setting and a nice view. I would be perfectly happy putting my aunt in there. The only problem was the distance from here. It takes a little while to get there.
