The Gables on Pelham

I toured The Gables. It was very clean and everything seemed accessible. I liked the layout of the community rooms and dining rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful.

My mom has been at the Gables Memory Care for 2 months now. Although this is a difficult time for everyone involved, the staff in memory care under the leadership of Cynethia and Ceciley has been excellent. We had an issue come up with my mothers room which required cooperation from a lot of the staff members at the Gables and Cynthia lead the team and worked with me professionally to find a solution which worked best for my mother in the end. I have full confidence in Cynthia and her staff going forward.

My dad moved to The Gables. The staff seems adequately sized. They're friendly, concerned, and helpful. He enjoys the food there.

I toured The Gables. They were dressing up for Halloween. All of the members of the memory care and everybody else were engaged. It felt vibrant. They were all excited and you didn't see them sitting around. They were all doing something. Even those in wheelchairs were dressing them up and decorating their faces and enjoying the holiday. The person that did the tour was very courteous and professional. He didn't hesitate to show everything, and everything was done in an uplifting manner. The community was spotless. The rooms were not too big and not too little. It was just right. It was very convenient to anything they needed. It's very uplifting from the time you walk in the door. It was more like walking into a hotel on a vacation.
