My aunt has started residents at The Gardens of Green Ridge. It's a very intimate place. There are only about 44 residents, so it's like a small family. Everybody is very friendly and very attentive to each other's needs. I get a sense that th entire administration is very engaged with the patients and the community members there. I find the ambiance to be one of the reasons why my aunt wanted to go there. We've been to other places that are larger, but there seemed too much noise and too much activity. My aunt wanted a nice private environment where she could get quiet time to herself, as much as she would be doing a lot of activities. I think this place is a nice combination of both. The staff is very professional. We met the administrative team, the executive director, the recruiting director, and nursing director. All of them were very attentive and thorough. Their program for onboarding new patients was a 36 hour (hour-by-hour) regimen, which we find very impressive. They have activities with the patients. The care is completely integrated into the cost and the aides are very attentive, so we're happy with that program. The building is impeccably clean. I went there at night to see what's happening after hours when I wasn't touring, and they keep the place perpetually clean. The staff is centrally located, so they have quick access to the patient if they need them. The 24/7 nursing team is great. They have a beautiful chapel on the left, so they're very attentive to religious services. It is a nice place if you're interested in faith based activity. They have a beautiful library and activity room, and so it's been nice. My aunt is gluten free, so they're very nice about that. They asked her what cereal and snacks she likes, so it's very intimate that they're asking her. The chef is taking care of the food that she wanted. They do a lot of trips. They have movie nights, socials in the afternoon, physical therapy, and activities. They have transportation everywhere. They have a shuttle bus that takes the patients or the staff where they want to go. They have a lot of activities and also gives them downtime, so I like that combination. The value for the money is great. It's all inclusive in the assisted care package. It's a very good value for the dollar.

I liked The Gardens of Green Ridge. It's not far from home. It was nice and clean. It seemed like there was a lot of help. The dining area and the living quarters were very nice. And it seemed like they kept everybody busy. The staff was very nice.

I toured The Gardens of Green Ridge. If my cousin didn't get into the other place, I definitely would have wanted him in The Gardens of Green Ridge. It was beautiful for someone who's looking for a very, very nice, modern, updated place. It's just that my cousin wasn't interested in any of the extra amenities. But I enjoyed the visit. I checked everything. It was very top-notch. However, it was way out of our reach as far as distance. But the place was gorgeous, I would move in there. I'm 75 so I could get there, too. The staff who gave the tour was very informative and very patient with me. Just a nice place and nice people there. It's a very clean up-to-date place.

The Gardens of Green Ridge seemed very nice and very clean. The people were courteous and seemed to have a lot of activities and daily food schedules. Everything seemed to be very well-prepared. They had a list of activities that kept the residents very busy. The apartments were clean and enough to provide a comfortable living for someone.

I very much like The Gardens of Green Ridge. They were playing bingo, and then in the memory care unit, they were doing arts and crafts. The staff members were very kind. It was our no. 1 pick of memory care unit so far. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. There was an activity room and they had a pet bird. Now that was in the other side and not the memory care unit. The memory care unit also had an arts and crafts section area. The security was OK; it was locked. Well, it was very nice and we like it.

The Gardens of Green Ridge is pretty nice, but they don't have enough help, so there are some things that I expected that they would do for me, but they don't get a chance to because they're so overwhelmed with people who are very needy and the people who are not as needy. There are just some things that I don't really get as a resident. They have exercises, poker, bingo, and they had apple pie-tasting going on last time. We go to amusement parks and they take you to the dollar store as an activity. The meals are good. The place has a nice atmosphere and there's no shouting going on.

We chose The Gardens of Green Ridge because of its location and wonderful staff. The director of nursing made me feel so comfortable, introduced me to everyone and assured me that my mother would be safe and well cared for. I loved the director of activities. They have their own dining area. She is not in the assisted living part, but the assisted living dining is beautiful. She is in the memory care unit and eating like I have never seen her eat before. She has gained a few pounds since she has been in. They always offer them snacks during the day. They’ve done a really nice job, and we are really happy with them. I wish they do have more staff in the memory care unit because they do need so much direction.

I did like The Gardens; it was a consideration. The only thing is my mother needs to be in a locked down ward because she has a slight risk as she does inappropriate things. That unit at the Green Ridge I thought was very depressing. I just didn’t like the setup of it. When you walked in, it was kind of a long skinny room, and then there was a like a partition; it was almost like two private rooms. I couldn’t see my mom there. The people were wonderful, and the place was beautiful, but the unit or the ward that my mom would be admitted to was not something I would choose. The staff was friendly.

The Gardens of Green Ridge looked a little bit institutionalized. There were 2 beds to a room; it was smaller and tight. I did see a porch -- but not much shade -- and it’s kind of concrete.

The Gardens of Green Ridge was very nice, it was lovely, but they had no beds; there was no opening. They did show the rooms to me in case anything came up and asked if I wanted to be in their waiting list. It was very nice, and the people that I talked to seemed very nice. I know they did take them out some places.

We have found a place for my dad. He is very happy there. He is located at The Gardens of Green Ridge. I like that it is small and that there are only 42 residents. The staff is excellent. Right now, my father is sharing a room with someone, but it is not really like they have two beds in one room. There is a big dividing wall, so basically the only common area that they have is a very large bathroom and where their dressers and closets are; otherwise, it is just like having their own room. It is smaller than a private room, which he is on a waiting list for. The dining set-up is beautiful. It is very nice. There are four top tables, they get served just like in a restaurant, and they have a couple of different choices of what they could have. They also have snacks all day long. They do have a bus. They take them to doctor's appointments, to shopping trips, and to field trips on different locations. They have a craft and activities room. They have physical therapy on site, a spa, and a whirlpool. They can come into your room and do the showers, and they also have another facility for showers. Overall, they keep them very busy. The administration and everybody are wonderful there.

We chose Gardens of Green Ridge for my mom and sister because of its proximity to where I live and work. It is very clean, and it has a bright environment; I like that. The staff is very positive. They answered all my questions. They are very kind. This facility is actually very secure. They have someone at the desk.

We chose The Gardens of Green Ridge for my brother-in-law primarily because of its location. The room is very clean and easily organized for a single man. I think the staff members are very pleasant and upbeat. They have activities every day such as Bingo and church services. Their dining area is very accommodating for socialization. The environment is very pleasant.
