My mom moved in at Sacred Heart Senior Living. The environment is very nice. The staff is very nice. Like a lot of places, they don't have enough staff, but I think that's the problem everywhere right now. The social activities are good, and the food is good.

I visited Sacred Heart Senior Living. I had lunch and dinner there. The room had a private bathroom. It wasn't that big, but it was plenty big. There was a little efficiency kitchen, a sink, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The staff was nice; they seemed fine. It's a Catholic facility. There's somebody who used to come there and they had mass there. The food was very good. The facility was beautiful. It's a three-story building. The reception desk was wood. They got marble countertops and circular desks. It's very nice.

I like that Sacred Heart Senior Living is small and intimate and it seemed really nice, but because it's smaller and my mother moves so fast in her wheelchair, they didn't think it was going to be a good fit. I was looking at the locked unit for the memory care, and I liked their apartment. The staff was very good. It's a great place. Everybody looked so happy. The people at the back porch were laughing and looking at the pond. It was very serene and friendly. The people were getting individual attention. The ratio of staff to residents was lower than a lot of places. They were spending time with them, and it looked very happy there.

Everything is perfect for my mother-in-law at Sacred Heart Senior Living. They have entertainment, bingo, games, church services, and arts and crafts. The staff is very friendly, and they come to the room to get her to interact. It's a very positive experience. They have laundry service, sitting areas, and TVs everywhere in the lounges. They offered us free lunch when we took her there. They're very accommodating to us. They also have a place on-site for visitors to use if they're coming from out of town.

I moved back home to Bethlehem after 20 years of retirement in Florida and was looking for a senior community close to family. I wanted a community that provided the independence I wanted and the assistance my husband needed, Sacred Heart Senior Living in Center Valley filled the bill. The moment we walked into the building I was impressed by the cleanliness and open airy feeling. The staff is well trained and very caring. The food is excellent and there is always a variety on the menu. I have a hot breakfast everyday. The dining staff is very professional and accommodates the requests of the residents. The activity department keeps me busy with arts and crafts which I have always enjoyed. I was able to be independent and my husband was well care for. Sacred Heart has Mass every Sunday at 11am right in the main lobby. This was wonderful for my husband and I since going out to Mass would have been difficult for him. Meeting spiritual needs was important to us. I have been a member of the Sacred Heart Senior Living Community for 10 year now. My husband has passed and I am now getting assistance with my needs since I am no longer independent. Sacred Heart is HOME to me, the staff is like family, they really care.

Sacred Heart was fine, but when I saw people walking around in wheelchairs and canes, I thought I was not ready for that kind of thing yet. I thought that was nice when you couldn’t get around too much. We enjoyed the luncheon that we had there. As a matter of fact, we knew somebody who lived there and we sat with for lunch. The staff was fine.

Sacred Heart is a perfect example of a good idea gone terribly wrong. Physically, the facility is very attractive. Nice rooms and top-shelf landscaping, but my mother's experience turned rancid about a year after she arrived, when her health changed for the worse, She passed about six months later, but management made her life miserable for those six months.-- acting almost resentful about her increased care needs.

I visited Sacred Heart for my mother-in-law. It was actually five minutes from my home. It was a much newer one. All the furnishings were new. There were much more planned activities and posted menus. It just had a much brighter feel to it. It was a lot more money. Also my mother-in-law needed nursing home level, and they were not able to accommodate that. But just touring it, it looked very good, very clean, and very luxurious. The grounds were beautiful to walk around. The setting was very nice. There were lot of activities.

I chose Sacred Heart for my aunt because it had church facilities and it's near my home. The staff helps her with her needs and she's comfortable there. They could improve by training in advanced dementia care.

When we visited, we were treated kindly and given a personal tour of the rooms and the other facilities. We were also given snacks and drinks, and allowed to talk with the residents. The staff was friendly and helpful. The assisted living rooms were somewhat small, without full kitchens, but were otherwise very modern, nice, and well furnished. There was an available dining room, laundry room, recreation room and television room, and I also saw a schedule of bus trips hanging on the wall. There were trips to the grocery store and dollar store, and also trips to theater shows and other interesting events. The facilities were clean and bright, and the people we encountered there seemed happy and friendly. Overall, Sacred Heart seemed like a lovely place, and is situated on a beautiful property. While it isn't perfect for everybody, it has most of the things that seniors could need right in one place.
