Marquis Hope Village Assisted Living

I visited Marquis Hope Village Assisted Living. The Hope Village itself actually has all levels of care, from memory and rehab all the way up to the nursing home, and then actual homes that are very limited assisted care. They have every level, but I toured for assisted living. From my brief interaction, it was a very well-run and clean facility. It seemed very organized and very supportive for every level of care. The staff members were also great to work with. They were phenomenal. Everything was very clean and appeared to be in very good repair. The grounds were kept beautifully, and it looked like there were maintenance workers and housekeeping workers constantly going over things and taking care of things, so it looked beautiful.

My husband's grandmother is currently staying at this facility, because she decided that she needed help on her own. The facility is nice, and has many activities that she participates in. Overall, she seems to have made new friends, and is enjoying the experience. When I visited her, she seemed happy, and was pleased that she no longer had to take on responsabilites of a regular household, and appreciates the help. I would say that I agree that my "grandmother in law" is in a good place. The staff is kind, caring and compassionate, and I would recommend this facility to others who's loved one needs more care. It Is truly a special time, when I see her enjoying herself, and is happy with her situation. Though she may not be able to carry herself as well as she used to, she is still an intelligent, articulate woman, and from the facility, she is getting the best care that she not only needs, but is deserving of.
