We chose Kingston of Vermilion for my mom because it's clean, the people care, people do shows there, the staff is great, and it's in a very peaceful and nice setting.

After my mother's hospitalization, she stayed at Kingston of Vermilion. The facility had the swimming pool that she needed for her swim therapy. It was a nice place but everybody was cramped together. The rooms were little and there were two residents in it. You could hardly walk around the room.

Kingston of Vermilion was a wonderful nursing home. It was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable. The employees were wonderful. They were all very friendly. All of the employees worked very hard. Unlike most nursing facilities, you could tell that they liked their jobs, and their patients. One employee even encouraged me to continue my schooling, and recommended a wonderful school for me to attend. They truly helped my grandmother have a wonderful stay. In the beginning, she was a little depressed about being away from home, but a few weeks in, she felt like she was at home. They did everything that they could to make her comfortable, as well as visiting family members and friends. Many times, nurses and aides would drop in and ask us if we would like something to drink, or some snacks. I have never seen that in any other facility. I would definitely recommend Kingston of Vermilion.
