My father-in-law was in the skilled nursing facility at Forest Glen Health Campus. Everybody was nice and very helpful. Everything was clean. They were very thorough when it came to all the COVID stuff. The layout and design of the room were fine. They had a big bathroom and a big shower. We didn't use any of the amenities, but they had a nice dining room and a nice courtyard. He was there probably for five weeks. Medicaid paid for most of it except the last week. The outside was very beautiful. They had a pond. They had very well-managed lawns, too.

Forest Glen Health Campus facility is newer but the rooms look like hospital rooms and I didn't care for that. I was thinking about putting my mom there, but I want something cheerful and they're just like hospital rooms. They had water, tea, coffee, whatever the residents wanted that's free. I didn't pursue it because after I saw the room, I didn't care what they had to offer. I just didn't care for the facility for somebody to live in for the rest of their life. If they're there to get back on their feet like rehab or something like that, that's a different story. But to be there for the rest of your life then that's not a place I'd want for my parents. I think they have road trips once in a while, they take them on a bus and they also play bingo.

My mom stayed at Forest Glen Health Campus for a day, and I really like this place. It's a bigger facility, and they have various assisted living there. We called hospice care right away when she went there, so that was really who provided her with the care. She had a private room; it was an excellent room. The place was good and the room where she's at was very, very clean (including the bathrooms). The entrance that we went in and as you go down the hallway are very welcoming and very clean. The staff that I came in contact with were very, very helpful. They did everything I needed them to do. The building was in really good shape and very well-maintained. The value for the money is average. I called around to other places, and they weren't any more expensive than that.

My Dad is at Forest Glen, and it's been very good right now. It's just a distance from me, so I visit him every two days through the window. He's been there since early December. Obviously, I don't get to interact with the staff very much. I either talk to them over the phone or see them through the window, but I'm happy with their care. Right now, he's in a private room because he's receiving skilled care, but that's about to come to an end under his insurance. He may even have to go to a semi-private room. It's been pretty good, and I'm happy with them. It's a beautiful campus in North Springfield on a huge amount of land. It's very spacious, clean and modern-looking on the outside. It has a sister facility just up the road, and my father was there after he came out of the hospital. We had a really nice experience there, too, so they're both really good places. From what I can see with the room, it's a little basic, but it's fine. I've seen just the foyer entrance. I could not go any farther than that, but from what I can see down the halls and into the dining room, things looked very clean, spacious, and nice. My dad has talked to me about the food, and that's important to him. For the most part, like yesterday, he was really happy with both his lunch and dinner. Once in a while, there's something that he doesn't care for, but for the most part he thinks it's pretty good. They can't have any activities right now.

Forest Glen Health Campus was very well-kept, clean, and up to date. There's nothing worn or shabby about it at all, but instead it's an excellently-kept facility. They offer three meals a day, and itÂ’s a very generous offer. You can go to the dining room to eat or you can have them delivered to your house. They have an excellent kitchen and excellent food. The people were going to and fro and they have a schedule of activities. They only offer one floor plan and one size, and the way the houses are built are way too small.

I visited Forest Glen Health on a Sunday. It didn't seem like there was much interaction between the aides and residents. It was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and showed us what we wanted to see. The rooms were like efficiency apartments with just a bed, bathroom, and closet. I saw a library and that they had some of activities like bingo and music.

Forest Glen was nice and clean. We met one person who was working there, and we were satisfied with it. They have 2-bedroom apartments, and they come with a garage, which is a real plus. However, if you want to eat, you have to leave your building and cross the street. The activities are more open for group activities. They have a clubhouse where people can go for exercising.

My relative was in Forest Glen Health Campus. Her room was kind of small and looked just like a hospital room. They have activities like Bingo, art, and reading; they had a lot. She also didn't care for the food at all, and the price was outrageous. They had a dining area, a room to do arts and crafts, and a beauty shop. There were a few staff members that we liked and there were some that weren't nice. She also had her money stolen a few times there.

Forest Glen appeared very attractive. The dining area looked clean and neat. When I walked in the room, it was clean. They have a craft area and a private dining area where you can have parties. They also have a courtyard that was very beautiful, well kept, and well manicured. The person who assisted me was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the patients appeared well kept.

I visited Forest Glen. You could tell that it was clean and didn't smell. The people who worked there cared and showed us around. The apartments were extremely clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knew all of the residents' names. The food was very good.

My dad was in the memory care unit at the Springfield Ohio Forest Glen for a little over a month. During this short time he developed several painful pressure sores all over his back, shoulders, feet, and sacrum, from where they would seat belt him into a wheelchair every day and leave him sit in the same spot all day. Some days they wouldn't even get him out of bed, we went there at 4:30 pm one day and he was naked, for anyone walking by to see, he was laying in a bed completely full of urine, and he had nothing to eat or drink all day. He also lost an alarming amount of weight during his short stay. Dr. Dudney was a horrible doctor that did not want to give him any pain medicine, and cut him off of the pain meds that he had taken for the past 15 years for his chronic hip pain. When it came to end of life care, this doctor refused to consult Hospice, so my dad could be kept comfortable, even though he met all of Hospice's requirements. Please don't send your loved ones to this horrendous place. Management knew about these issues, and still nothing ever got done. The last month of my dad's life was spent in agonizing pain from those pressure sores. Horrible place!!!!!!

Forest Glen Health Campus in Springfield, Ohio receives my utmost gratitude. My aunt had been in many nursing homes with in the last 2 years of her life and by far, Forest Glen blew away my expectations. All the staff was courteous and friendly, they were always well kept and always cared about how the family was doing. Some of my aunt's family had come from another city and the nursing home offered them spare rooms and if ever they were thirsty or hungry, the nursing home staff always accommodated their needs. When my aunt did pass, the staff was there to assist us with all the arrangements and allowed the family to finish saying their goodbyes in their own way. It was definitely an experience I won't soon forget and I must say thank you.
