"I didn't see anything negative about Magnolia Springs Loveland. It was a bright and cheery place. The lady who took us on the tour knew the names of any residents that came out in the hallway or we passed. She seemed to know everybody and all the staff were nice. They had a lot of good things. It was just very nice. I didn't meet a whole lot of staff, but those that I met were great. They had a little extra stuff, like a cafe place for the residents that they could go to other than the regular dining room. They do movies and stuff for the residents also. They had some very nice things."

"My dad has been in here for a month now. It is an assisted living, lockdown place. It is more like a home than an institution. It has a main shared living area in the center, and then on each side are five bedrooms. The place has two aides 24/7, and then during the day, there is an RN. They have a big kitchen, and they cook real food. Food smells great. My dad says it tastes great too. They cook from scratch. It is all about the patients there. It is really quite a nice comfortable place. This is a very warm family-oriented community. It is quite nice. I like it a lot. They are licensed for 12 residents. There is a patio which it is large, there is a small grassy area, and there is a covered porch. When the weather is nice, they can go out there. It is a memory unit, so you don't go wander the grounds. I like the place, and I like the staff. The place is new, so everything is new and clean. I found it to be priced more comfortably than the larger communities."

"The staff at Mallard Cove was very good, and the rooms were very nice. The food and the dining room setup are excellent. They have an activity director, and they have all kinds of activities going on all the time. "

"My parents are at Otterbein. They live in a little duplex, and it has everything that they need. They have transportation available on campus because it is a huge place. They do have a clinic, and they have activities they can go to. On Fridays they have a concert in the park and live bands that play different types of music during the summer. They also have religious and arts activities. They have just been out there for a couple of weeks, but so far, we are pretty impressed. "

"After searching constantly for an assisted living facility for myself, I was severely disappointed in the lack of quality and caring attitudes that most places have. Luckily, I came across Brookdale Place at Kenwood just in time. This is a model of efficiency and practicality. This assisted living facility has everything one could need in order to have a comfortable living. The establishment and grounds are very well-kept and clean and the staff are more than willing to handle any issues they are presented with. I was extremely happy with this establishment and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality assisted living home while still looking to maintain their independence. Perfect grounds, excellent staff that cater to anything you could possibly need, a brilliant atmosphere and many amenities help to distinguish Brookdale Place at Kenwood from many of the surrounding assisted living facilities that do not provide quality living arrangements. "

"I toured Beehive Homes of Liberty Township. I liked the fact that they were small-scale. I felt like if I'd been there I could have gotten more one-on-one and more personal attention. It was a very clean facility. The staff was very caring. I have no experience with them, but just from what I observed, they seemed nice and caring."

"Optimized Senior Living Lebanon had availability, and I went in there, took a look at a room, and walked around the kitchen, and they had a little community center there. It was alright. They had a nurse practitioner on call 24/7, a few nurses on staff, and nurses' aides. It seemed pretty nice, but it was kind of expensive. They gave me a booklet. It gave me all the information and it is very helpful and very thorough. What I saw was a one-bedroom apartment. Mom had everything she needed to live in that apartment. They had a 24/7 kitchen that she could go in, get something, and make something. They had a little rec place where they played games, watched TV, or played piano. The two things I didn't like were the $3500 nonrefundable deposit, but they say that that's used for when a person leaves, they have to paint and repair patches and anything on the wall. Plus the $7500 they require you for a couple of months' rent upfront. They had everything. It's just expensive. They didn't have actual doctors. They had a nurse practitioner 24/7 on call. There were some things that I liked a lot and there were some other things I didn't like as much. They come in once a month and do your hair and massage and stuff like that. Everything was well taken care of."

"We selected Seasons for my mother in 2012 when she decided to move to the Cincinnati area to be closer to one of the children. We were looking for a two-bedroom apartment for independent living and nearby assisted living and nursing home care. After considering 14 locations from referrals, online, and by phone calls, we selected Seasons! The facilities are wonderful and the staff is very friendly and caring. Activities for residents are abundant as well as musical entertainment many times each month. The facility is large with over 200 residents, but the design is such that it feels open and homey at the same time. Meals, service, and maintenance are the best we have experienced. You will not be disappointed! "

"Traditions of Lebanon seemed brand new. The staff who gave the tour was excellent. They have a standalone apartment. It's beautiful. It has a garage. It's very well decorated. It's a living room, a nice bedroom, and a good kitchen. It's pretty. They have transportation. They have full-service kind of thing. It's very nice."

"Brookdale Springdale was fantastic. It was a smaller community and seemed more personal. They had a cute courtyard within the community. The dining area was pleasant. The food quality was good. The rooms looked good and were a very good size. They have activities like walking, watching television, and talking with each other. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and attentive. The facility was clean and sufficient."

"We were unable to go into the memory care area of Traditions at Camargo. They were a little bit more strict about that, so we just saw the main lobby and went into a private office. We saw the lobby and one of the communal dining areas. Because of COVID, they're limiting the amount of areas that you can see, and so we weren't able to tour the full facility. We just met with one of the people there. They were helpful. The facility is brand new, so everything is very nice. The amenities were pretty much the same as all the other places that we have looked at. It was comparable to anything we would compare it to."

"We went to Pinebrook Retirement Living, and it was modern and clean. It was also a nice and lively looking place. The rooms looked nice, spacious, and modern looking. The staff was very nice and accommodating. "

"My Mother, who recently passed away July 2011, was a patient for Alzheimer's at Garden Manor. I was very happy with the care they gave my Mother, especially in her final days there. I would recommend this facility. "
