The building is fairly clean and fairly well maintained on the inside of the building, as well as the outside areas of the building. The majority of the staff are both courteous and helpful to the members living there and very professional. The food in the facility could definitely stand to be improved though. Most of the meals served within the facility both look and smell fairly poor and very unappetizing. The outside of the building is landscaped nicely and has garden areas where residents can go outside and enjoy a bit of nature and beauty.

My father came to this facility after a hospital stay for falling and breaking his neck. Upon arrival to the facility the staff did not seem to be very friendly or attentive. The room he was placed in was a shared room that already had one resident. The room did not seem to be very clean, the entire facility for that matter. The bedside tray table had blood on it and not from my father. The phone was not working in the room; the wires for the phone were hanging out of the wall not connected to anything. 2 hours after arrival a male nurse came in the room. He had on blue jeans that had a hole in the crouch area and a team jersey. I informed him of the blood on the tray table and the wires hanging out of the wall that needed to be fixed in order for my father to have a working phone. We did not see a physician while in the facility but they wanted to make a plan of care for his stay. How do you do that without a physician seeing him to determine where he is with his injury. This was just the start of a bad week. The staff is not very pleasant and does not seem to attend to the patient in the facility at all. We ask the staff on two separate days to shower my father and both days we were told he would get a shower. He did not get a shower by the staff I had to shower him. My father would ask the staff daily to fill his water jug and on a consistent basis this small task was never completed, I would fill the container upon my arrival and again before I left at the end of the night. If I went to the nurse’s station I would stand there as there was generally no acknowledgement of my presence. On one occasion I was told by the staff behind the desk that someone else would need to help me as she got off at 4 and should not have stayed to help as she was putting on her coat and then she walked out from behind the counter and left. I stood there wondering how we ended up in this facility and how fast I could get me father out. The food is not the best but the portions are very small and had I not brought food for my father to snack on and eat in between meals he would have been very hungry. Bread on the sandwiches was normally hard and coffee is rarely served with the meals. I would have to buy my father coffee from the machine. My father had a small accident in the restroom of his room. The cleaning staff would come in do a quick sweep/mop of the room and claim the room was clean but three days after the small accident the remains of that accident still remain on the restroom floor. I had to take pictures to prove to the nurses I work with of how horrible this facility is. I am still wondering how this place has not been shut down.I am pulling my father out of the facility due to the ongoing issues. If I had taken a tour of this facility there is no way I would even place one of my enemies here. The lack of care and unhealthy conditions of this place are enough for me to inform everyone I know to never place a loved one here.

The worst place I have ever visited. The staff is rude and it is very dirty. Do not take any body you know there!
