"The facility took care of mom with love and caring. The staff there really care about the residents. The Administration was excellent. The therapy team worked so hard with mom. We thought she would be there permanently but they did such a great job, she was able to return home. "

"I have found Fairhaven Senior Services and I have signed up. It has been very good. I will be moving in in December because they’re building a duplex for me. They had the stand alone duplexes, and I like that. The people there are very good. I was very satisfied. I like the nursing staff, and I like the atmosphere. It’s the highest in my estimation. I’ve seriously looked at four others, and this is the one I chose. I would say it’s very good. Probably the biggest reason I preferred Fairhaven was because of the possibility to live in a villa and not have to move into an apartment. I’m just not an apartment type of person, so it’s a personal preference. Fairhaven was a little bit better kept up than either of the other two places. It is better for the continuing care part. That was very important to me. "

"We have gone to LindenGrove and the facility was very nice. It was very clean. The staff was very kind. They let us walk through the facility by ourselves. They had a lot of areas for the people to go outside, and lots of areas to socialize. We only looked at the one-bedroom, but they also had two-bedroom units. They looked very nice. People seemed very nice and they were very active. I would recommend them because they were clean and they had good staff. "

"My mother moved into Mercyhealth Care Center. The price is fair and reasonable, they take good care of my mom, and she likes the food. The people are very nice. They have activities for people that are able to do that. They have a beauty salon, a little dining area, entertainment that comes in, and they have workout equipment. The only thing that bothered me was that Mom slept through the meals a few times, and they didn't bother to wake her up, so she missed those meals."

"During the time my mother stayed here she received excellent care! The therapists were all very nice to mom and she really enjoyed talking and working with each of them. The nurses were all very personable and never once made you feel like you were bothering them. They patiently took as much time with mom as needed never once making it feel as though they were rushed. The CNAS were also very friendly, caring, attentive and made mom feel very comfortable and safe. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and does a great iob. The admissions director and social worker made certain that everything was taken care of and was extemely understanding during very difficult times. Our family simply can't say enough positive things concerning the entire staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Meadow Park. "

"I liked Valley Hi, but it was too large. From what I saw, the staff was OK. They are very helpful. They answered any and all of my questions. They have the standard activities. The dining room seemed fine. Sanitation is good as well. I would recommend this facility to others. "

"My great-aunt was at this facility. The staff was very caring and on top of all her needs as well as supporting the rest of the family. This is an older, smaller facility but the care out weighs the the looks. During the covid pandemic, the staff was very caring and did everything possible to keep us informed and involve with my aunt. The administrator even bought cell phones and an ipad so we could see our aunt virtually and talk to her during quarantine. The residents loved to play bingo, listen to the music entertainment and the christmas party was amazing, with the help of the community. The therapy dept was great. The beautiful patio over looks the lake. & if we weren't there to take my aunt outside, the staff did. I would highly recommend."

"We've visited Hearthstone Communities, but it was way out of our price range. It was a very nice place and the size was very good. We enjoyed our tour at this place more than the others. The dining area was very nice and roomy, and everyone was cordial and nice to talk to. I saw that they have exercise equipment, but they don’t have things like a pool. The rooms were very clean and lovely."

"Rock Haven is wonderful. They're very individualized as far as what their residents' needs are. They're kind, compassionate, and caring. I'm not talking just about the nurses, but I'm also talking about the CNAs, the social worker, and the people who clean the place. The first day we were there, everybody came in, spoke with my mom, told them their names, and said, "We know you won't remember, but we're here to take care of you, whatever your needs are. This is your home." I think that makes a big difference, making it a home for her. They've been very kind to us. They're a little more strict as far as COVID protocols, but that's ok. My mother was down this week playing euchre with another lady and she hasn't played euchre for I don't know how long. It's nice to see her doing that and coming alive a little bit. This is a huge thing. The amenities, the cleanliness, and everything are outstanding. Her room is beautiful and well painted. They have their own set of protocols for even putting or hanging things up. They'll have their own people come in and do that. They have built-in dressers, drawers and things like that. You can bring in your own things. Then they have beautiful drapes and very nice, spacious bathrooms. They make sure that her blood is tested and her insulin is tested. So, I think she's getting wonderful care."

"I love the grounds at Crossroads. It was really pretty. The price was higher, but they said that you could get a voucher from the VA, and they would help you do that. They have transportation services to go back and forth to their doctors or to the stores, if the resident is capable."

"Mom stayed in Mercy Manor for a little over two months. The place is welcoming and clean. The staff is good and my mom is treated very well. They keep the family informed. "

"My brother is currently in rehab at Alden Estates of Jefferson. The physical therapy seems great. My brother gets along with them very well. They've been doing great. He's been improving in some things as much as he can. Some of the staff are great, but he had problems with another one. They look like hospital rooms, at least where he was. At least in rehab, they furnish the bed and things, but the doorways were wide. I like that they didn't have narrow hallways like assisted living does. The hallways are wide. Their food, the way my brother talks, and some of the things I saw were pretty good, but he says so-so. They have activities, and it looks like they do a good job there. They did pretty good and answered my questions. I worked with the social worker mostly. In one place they have a little bird for people to notice when they walk by, and they have fish in another place. Only thing is, they lost my brother's clothes; one nurse tried very hard, she found some. I bought them a brand-new pair of just casual slacks, and they can't seem to find them. So, he only got to wear them twice, and never saw them again. So, I'm very disappointed in losing clothes, but I guess that that happens easily."
