Sorry to say but this is NOT the place I would want to take a Loved one. This place is SO run down & old looking, rooms are very small & not a very comfortable atmosphere. Most staff was friendly but never went above & beyond to make my Dad feel comfortable; they were basically there to do there job & that was it; no encouraging words or sympathy for someone who had just found out they only have a short time left to live. One staff member was very rude to my Mom when we told her my Dads oxygen was not working; she said "Yes it is!!" Short time later a Supervisor (very friendly) came in; comes to find out NO the oxygen was NOT working was hooked up wrong. UGH! I could go on but will not; long story short, this is not the place you want to take someone to if you want to keep loved ones spirits up. :(

The staff seemed to be very helpful and also very caring and kind. They paid a lot of attention to my cared one, always making sure that she was as comfortable as they could possibly make her. They were very outgoing and knew how to interact with her even though she is very difficult to understand due to multiple strokes and other health concerns.The facility seemed to be a bit older, but it was evident that the staff kept it clean and the age of the building did not seem to be a problem. I appreciated a patio area with tables and chairs that allowed my family to spend time with my aunt out of doors, since I believe that this is part of what helps keep someone who is in such a home happy.There is also a nice indoor visiting area where residents who have mobility and are able to can watch TV and perform other activities/socialize together.Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of care and the condition of the facilities.

Hospice workers are educated, maintain professionalism, as well as compassion for the client, family and friends,. I met with a staff who demonstrated her level of care and compassion in the way she described her work. They provide care for the client, but also support to the family, during and after. I believe they provide wonderful care. I would recommend Hospice through Willowfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
