"I really liked Grand Victorian of Rockford. The person that showed me around and that I talked to had a very good spirit about her. I liked the way that she interacted with the staff. I was introduced to several of the staff people. Everybody just seemed in good spirits there, which is what I liked. I liked the setup of the rooms. I liked the scenery around there. My sister is a person that likes to be out in the yard, and they would have the opportunity to help with the landscaping and stuff like that. I'm sure that is something that she would enjoy. It's just a pleasant place to me. It was furnished really nice. It was a pleasant environment. They really had a lot to offer. They had a movie room, a game room, and a dining area. All of that was really nice, even the landscaping and the scenery outside. Even if an elderly was taking a walk or being pushed around out there, it would be just good spirits. The staff was very friendly. Sometimes you go to these places and they're just there because it's just a job, but I didn't get that feeling from the staff there."

"I visited The Village at Victory Lakes. I liked it very much. There are people there that I know. It seems to be everything I am looking for. If you have a problem, there is somebody there to help you with it. Also, everything is in the same area, like my doctors are closeby. The Village at Victory Lakes provides a washer and dryer in each room. The staff members are extremely accommodating and helpful. They showed us around and invited us for lunch. They have bus service to three different areas that the other places didn't. They come to our little town here and then they go to another town east of here. They offer 2-bedroom apartments that seem to be spacious."

"I am very impressed with Fairhaven. They seemed to offer everything anybody could want. The place was very clean and well maintained. The people were extremely nice, and the food was very good. They are in the process of renovating, which is very good. They had a myriad of activities. They are right next door to the University in Wisconsin Whitewater and there’s a lot of things going on there for residents. There were regular bingo games and trips. "

"I visited Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. It was an excellent facility. The staff was good. I would put excellent for everything. "

"My wife was at Victory Lakes for her rehab but she passed away last April. The food was fine. The service was excellent. She got to know most of the people there and they took expert care of her. They were very attentive to her to meet her needs. It was just a very pleasant experience. "

"My cousin is in Peterson Meadows. It's very acceptable, good, and clean. The people are very friendly. It's a very nice, wonderful place. The staff was very friendly, answered our questions, and didn't make us wait. The maintenance department is wonderful. They came and hooked up her TV the same day she moved in and hooked up her telephone, so she could keep the same phone number that she had. They have a vegetable garden that you could go out and work on."
