"My parents are in Fleshers Fairview Health Care. We go there every day. The size of the room is perfect. The area is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. They played bingo or something."

"My mother was diagnosed with having Epilepsy back in march she was in out of drifferent Nursing Home Rehabs. Again in August she had another seizure she was in the hospital then sent to Golden Living for rehab. When they were told she has familial mediterranean fever which is an hereditary illness past down thru generations from parent to child etc. It's not an easy illness to treat it can cause other problems as well....The nurses there took good care of my mother showed respect, compassion, caring an love.... The Therapist there stayed on top of therapy with her they took time to work with her , not push her hard.. Which I liked. The CNA's there were very good to her... There were several that we became close with. These men an women became another family to us.. On drifferent days they had church, bingo, crafts, sitting outside , Parties there was always something going on there , it kept mom busy.There is an hair dresser whom is also the activity director .Energy in Golden Living very good. It didn't feel like some places she's been into. When people ask where my mother was I tell them at the best place. Golden Living. I would high recommend them "

"My mother has been in and out of snfs for over a year. I WISH we had found this one first. Haven lived through nightmare facilities, I can honestly say my mom was in the cream of the crop when it comes to snfs. The rooms are relatively large and roomy. My mother had a wonderful view of the courtyard where we placed a bird feeder. My mother’s needs were met by staff that were genuinely vested in her mental and physical wellbeing. I absolutely have not one negative thing to say about this facility. The staff, from the receptionist to the cleaning staff were so welcoming and loving. The facility was so clean and spacious. I never saw a patient without a smile on their face. The pt/ot had my mom up and on the mend in no time. Absolutely recommend this facility!"

"My husband stayed at CarePartners Rehabilitation Hospital. They were absolutely excellent. They have an excellent rehab facility. It's large. They have every piece of equipment that is needed for a thorough rehab. The staff was very good. The facility was well cared for. Cleanliness was excellent. They have a large fireplace room where people can visit with their families. The food was pretty good. I've been to some other things since, and they're nowhere near as good as that was."

"This nursing home is a smaller one and it was a great experience for us as a family. We did not have to worry about our family member or wonder if they were really being taken care of here. The nurses were all so sweet to all of us and if we had a question about anything, they got answers for us quickly. They have a great rehab program that do exercises with the patients that they actually enjoy. We recommend this facility to others. "

"My mom is now in rehab in Asheville, North Carolina, called Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation, and it looks like that's where she will be long-term. It's great. I highly recommend it in every way. She has been there for three weeks now. It's very good. The staff is very attentive. It's incredibly clean. They host workshops on how to maintain a facility in a very clean manner, and it's been quite a long time since they've had any Covid cases. It's very clean and bright, it isn't depressing to go there like some of the other places I toured. So, at this point I can only say good things about it, I know we're early on, but we'll see. The services are so far very, very good. It's very conveniently located in the heart of downtown Nashville. My mom likes the food a lot better than where she was for a couple of weeks before that. They have lots of activities that they offer to people."

"Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community is a life care center. You go in with independent living and then you can go to assisted living and then to nursing care. So once you're there, you don't have to move again and we like that about it and the five-star rating they have. We are also Episcopalian so many of our priests are on the board. Our bishop is on the board so I know they've never tossed anybody out when they run out of money, whereas other places have these long contracts. You're there for the rest of your life and they will take care of you. The apartment has a washer and dryer and a complete kitchen. Before you move in, you can have it painted with the colors that you like. They spend eight weeks personalizing it for you in terms of the colors, the flooring, the countertops, and whatnot. All the appliances come as part of the furnishings. Everybody there seems to be very satisfied. The staff was wonderful, very good, and very helpful. There's a flexible meal plan. You can have the main meal of the day or you can have six meals a week if you want to eat out and spill or you can have five meals. If you decide to go out of town for a week, you can suspend the meals. The food is excellent. They have guestrooms, so you can stay overnight for two or three nights or however long you want to during the week. We've eaten the meals there and enjoyed the amenities. During the weekends, they reserve both guest rooms for the relatives of residents."

"My husband has been in this facility for 20 days after falling and fracturing his neck. He is preparing to leave and has had the most professional care and therapy. We have come to love these wonderful folks and don’t believe you could find a better place for yourself or your loved one when you need serious care. It isn’t quite home but, in our case, it was the next best .wiedthing! Mary Wiedenhaupt"

"My Mother was a Resident at Emerald Ridge My Mother had been discharged from hospital to her home and was declining rapidly. I spoke with Admissions Director Ginger J. on the phone who was very helpful to me to understand my options. She met with me and explained my insurance and Medicare benefits . She set up transport for my Mother to admit to Emerald Ridge . She was greeted by Ginger and the Unit Manager Jessica both of theses ladies made the transition so much easier for my Mother and our family. The staff at Emerald Ridge treated us like family they work very hard from Nursing, the therapy team was very knowledgeable . There were Therapy dogs for my Mom to love on. Unfortunately my Mom passed away the staff made her transition from earth to Heaven very comfortable and precious for us. I cant say enough about the team at Emerald Ridge I will forever be grateful to Mark the Rehab nurse and Ginger for all that you did for me. "

"I went to Aston Park Health Care Center because they offer a respite care program, but they won't accept me, because I have a power chair. However, the lady there took me on a tour, discussed some of my needs, and gave me some good advice. Because I was not cognitively impaired or so physically impaired that I needed the medical care that they provide (they're also a rehabilitation center), she didn't recommend it for me. She thought that I would get easily bored and frustrated because there wouldn't be very much interaction with other people living there and they don't do many activities. They don't have a library, they don't have an activity room. Most of the people living there have disabilities that make it impossible for them to do that. They have both single and double bedrooms, but they look more like hospital rooms. It's a beautiful and well-kept place."

"I have been very satisfied with the care that my mom received at Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation. They have a great group of people. I was glad they were able to find a long term spot for her, because she already liked it there. When she was in rehab, she was sharing a room with someone, which was a little crowded. Now that she's moved to skilled nursing, she has her own room and it's quite sizable and it's kept very clean. The food looks good, too. They have a living room/library with games and puzzles in it, a lot of outdoor seating areas (which my mother has been fond of), and lots of opportunities for residents to gather and either play games or have book talks and things like that. So, there's stuff to do, which is nice."

"What my sister, the resident, liked the best about this Universal Healthcare facility was the homey environment and delicious home-style meals. And I agree with her. Additionally, the entire complex is designed so that every resident has a beautiful nature view from his/her room. That indicates a caring overall plan, very unusual and much appreciated. The staff iscompletely professional and attentive. Personally I have witnessed excellent and truly caring attention by nurses and CNAs, all of whom were stretched thin, as is the usual. I only hope all are paid appropriately for the care they provide. My sister was there because of terminal cancer. Every measure was taken to assure her the maximum of comfort. This is an excellent facility. I witnessed this on a daily basis for several weeks, so am sure that this is the usual standard of care."
