Wife went there for rehab if you call it that. Her care was and rehab was useless. Was there for 5 weeks and zero improvement. Getting with Medicare and filing a quality of care complaint. Left there and home a few days and sent to hospital with blood clots in both legs. In new facility now and has done more in three days there than five weeks at PELICAN. Will also file complaint with State Board. Do not send anyone there

Asheville health care center is a very clean facility, no odors. The staff are all friendly and willing to help. They go above and beyond their call of duty. Very good care all the way around. I highly recommend this facility for anyone seeking rehab or long term care!!

hello, six years ago I had a stroke and blood clot in my brain,leg. my experience was very good I felt right at home. they let my dog come visit every day. I had a private room, but during my stay I got lonely and requested a room mate. they put me in with a very sweet woman named Ruth her family was just as nice.the only bad thing i can say bad about this facility is the bathing, I was never asked to take a bath so I hand bathed in the bathroom sink. which wasn't so bad for me but for patients bed ridden I hope they got baths..

My wife went there to get rehab. The staff there were helpful to some extent but there Doctor sucks, my wife feel ill and we had the nurse to call him to come check her out he told the nurse that he was not coming back to the facility if we needed a doctor to call an ambulance to take her to the ER and that is what we did. Also no one in charge came and talked to us about anything or even what was going on so if anyone has a loved one please do not take them there for any reason . I don't even want to give this place a star but it want let me send this until I do.

Mom is in Asheville Health Care Center for two months now and so far, everything is perfect. It is only a mile from my house. Everything is so clean and you don't smell anything when you go in. The food and help are just wonderful. Everybody bent over backwards to be helpful and so far, we had no problem. I would recommend them to others.
