I had two residents in my first 1 hour visit, voicing that they didn't get medication. It was gross and in horrible shape, I seen holes in the wall in two rooms. During meals the staff slammed down a plate so hard some of food came off and she just walked away. I would never put someone here that I cared about. I question anyone who does. The owner lives next door in a pretty, nice and clean home that is always in tip-top shape. that's where the money goes.

I visited Boger City Rest Home. I had been there just to visit a relative or a friend. We had gone there as a church to offer religious service. Their rooms were on one floor. The facility was adequate and very clean. The staff was really nice and accommodating. It was a very nice facility.

This facility is by far the worst I have ever seen. I would not advise anyone to put their friends or family in this place. It stinks and is very unsanitary. The staff does not take care of there patients. They are not fed like they should be. They are not bathed or checked on. This place should not even be in business!! Please beware of this place!!!!!

All in all, I would have to say that Boger City Rest home is pretty awesome. We had our doubts at first as we were use to being around my grandmother all of the time, but with the fact that everyone worked and no one was able to move in with her full time to help take care of her, we visited many facilities and Boger City Rest Home gave us the peace of mind of placing her in a living assisted establishment. My mom and dad were very vigilant about visiting often and still are to ensure that proper guidelines were being followed and up until now everything is fine. When I visited, my grandmother seemed very happy, not as happy as she would be as she would be at home, however very happy. I love the fact that she now feels a sense of community and has made very many friends at the Boger City Rest home. It gives my family and I peace of mind knowing that she still has certain freedoms, but has those freedoms with a 24 hour staff that is always there to take care of any situation that may arise. The only negative thing that I have to say, is that this is not a smoke free facility, while no smoking takes place inside, they still allow residents and employees to smoke outside. Overall this has been a very positive experience for my family and I and we would absolutely refer someone to use Boger City Rest home. They have a very friendly and informative staff that always has a smile on their face. I am grateful for them and the level of service they provide for my grandmother.
