My Dad lived at Eden Heights of West Seneca for almost 2 years. He was lucid & mobile, totally independent, & celebrated his 100th birthday early this year. The staff is extremely helpful & friendly. It's a one story facility - no stairs, no elevator. It has a covered outdoor space for everyone to gather. There is a variety of activities & music events. A community space gathers residents for the Bills' games. The facility features an ice cream parlor, beauty salon, game room, & a designated area for prayer & meditation. Eden Heights of WS was an ideal choice.

My brother will be moving into Eden Heights of West Seneca. The tour was fine. Everyone was nice. The place was well-kept. It was a beautiful place. The inside was lovely. They have a great activities calendar. They go on field trips. They have the care that he needs. The rooms are beautiful. The dining room is wonderful. There are little areas all over the building where the residents can have coffee or they can sit and watch TV and can wait for their rides to their medical appointments in comfort. All the staff members that I met were wonderful. The lady during the tour was congenial, bubbly, and asked questions about, not only his care, but what he likes to do, his hobbies, and his background. She bent over backwards getting me the information and the assistance that I needed from the facility where he is now. She's just been wonderful. It's warm and welcoming.

My mom was at Eden Heights of West Seneca City for about a year. We chose it for the location and affordability, she was able to afford it at that time, but things have changed. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere gets friendly, I was hoping she could stay there, but she can't. It's a good layout, she likes the food, and the dining area is very big. They have bingo, card games, music that comes in a couple of times a week, church once a week, and they do therapeutic activities. They do crafts and stuff. They have coffee and chocolate and cookies afterward, they always have goodies. Two times a day they have the ice cream parlor.

Eden Heights of West Seneca was a clean facility and the people were very cooperative. We never had any issues with bedsores or anything like that. We always found our in-laws to be clean and cared for. Their medicines were delivered correctly and they got three meals a day. They had community rooms, all sorts of exercises, and social programs that they could use. The staff was very courteous, kind, compassionate, and very helpful. If they needed anything from the doctor, they would contact us so we could get notify the doctors if there were any concerns. The layout of the facility was very nice. It had areas for companies to come to, if they didn't want to stay in the room of their loved one, they could go into those areas and close the doors and spend time together. For the activities, they had puzzles, an exercise area, two courtyards, card games, a TV room, and scheduled events where they would take the residents out in the van to go shopping or go someplace else like a field trip.

My brother was at Eden Heights of West Seneca. He was there for two and a half years. It was fine for about a year and a half, and I don't know what the tipping point was about a year ago. He was upset that they've had several management changes and then things didn't go well from there. He felt like the residents' voices weren't heard and that the management was consumed in the bottom line of cost without going into a lot of detail. It just led to a lot of tension. The facility was nice. It was one floorplan. They had a beautiful courtyard and a meeting room. It served my brother very well for a year and a half. He was very happy there. However, they're very understaffed and that's obvious in the manner in which they operate the place. They can't seem to keep a staff ratio which impedes their ability to provide the services and the amenities. As far as the staff, he told me, there were wonderful people on the staff that went beyond, and he said there were some members of the staff that were just awful. He had an altercation with somebody in the food service and eventually the management fired that person for how rude he was to the residents of the place. It's a lot of internal stuff. I think they had two management changes in the last year to a year and a half, and they just don't seem to be responsive to residents' needs. They had different types of rooms. They had one bedrooms and suites. When my brother went there, they told me they only had a semi-private, but then one opened up and he got a private suite. I know that he was happy in the facility that he had. When he first got there, there were a lot of field trips where they took residents to places, but I didn't think that happened within a year and a half.

I went to Eden Heights of West Seneca. The layout was nice. It's all on one floor. I like the width of the hallways and the upkeep. It's older, but they are updating at this time, and it's nice. The staff was outgoing and friendly. The rooms were exactly what you need and I like that the shower was a zero-boundary entrance. They offer activities, but I didn't look into that. They have a game room and an ice cream parlor. They have a walking trail and a middle courtyard area. The only thing why I didn't pick them is they contract out to do diabetic management, so the nursing staff is not able to test your sugar and they're not able to provide insulin.

My mom moved into Eden Heights of West Seneca in January. It's assisted living and seemed like a nice place. I was only there a couple of times. Since then, I've heard that the staff keeps changing they way everything is now. People quit, and they hire new people. Her room is basic. It's a little spacious, so it's more than enough room for her. It's a private room. The dining room looks good. They have tables apart. They don't sit people together. It's very spacious and very big. The cleanliness was good. Since they got a new maintenance guy, I don't know what it's like now. There's been a lot of changes. It's expensive, but I guess it's OK. She's getting her money's worth. They play bingo and all kinds of games. They have a T.V. room, where they watch football games and stuff. Mom was telling me that the last time I talked to her last week, apparently they don't have an air conditioner. I don't know how true that is or if she's going to get one for her room, but I can't imagine a building that size that doesn't have air conditioning.

I went to Eden Heights of West Seneca. It was not up to the standards of the other places. It wasn't modern, and I didn't care for it at all. It was clean and all that, but it just didn't have the feeling, like the other places are more modern. It didn't look like it was run as well as the other places. The staff was OK, but not up to the standards of the other facilities. They weren't as knowledgeable or as helpful. The dining area was average. I did not have the food. The whole place was average. It was not up to the standards of the other two places. I didn't see too many activities at that place. They had amenities, but when you don't have a good impression of something, you just want to go through and get out. They had the barbershop, and they had an activity hall place where they watch TV together and all that. It's an older building. When you go to these other places, they're more modern and it had a better feeling to it than Eden Heights. However, they only have so much to work with an older building. They can improve the décor, like the flowers and stuff on the wall; they can improve it that way. It just didn't have the good vibe as it did with the other places, and the staff also, they were not as personable or helpful as the other two places.

The people at Eden Heights of West Seneca seemed happy enough. The place was clean. I went with my girlfriend because she was mainly more concerned with it. The lady that showed us the place, the manager or supervisor there, was super friendly and helpful. She showed us the rooms, she showed us the whole place, and all in all, we were quite happy. I personally would not like to share a room. The shared rooms are too small, but the single rooms and the bigger single rooms are quite nice. The facility seemed very clean. The dining area seemed very clean and nice, too. We didn't see anybody engaged in any of the activities. At one point, they were having ice cream. There are activities and bus tours to take you places. They have a few things to do. We didn't get into that because we just really wanted to see the place, what the rooms would be like, and ask a few questions about laundry and different things.

The tour at Eden Heights was good. The nurse showed me everything. She showed me the private room, semi-private room, the kitchen or the eating area, and the game room. They have a courtyard, library, a beauty salon, and an ice cream shop. It's all nice.

My daughter and I went to Eden Heights of West Seneca and toured the whole place. They have walk-in showers (which is wonderful) and a very nice dining area. The staff was just super nice and answered all my needs. I have a special recliner chair that I actually sleep in, and they said "Yeah, you bring it along." I have a TV, phone, and internet at my house, which I can transfer them over there too. It is a single story building. It is a really nice facility, and I like it. The two young ladies showed us just about everything, including the rooms. The rooms were super friendly and they really did a nice job. They seemed to be nice people and that is why I think I am really going to like it. It is also very clean, very neat, and very well kept. The cleaning staff did a super job cleaning it up. I just saw the menu, and they seemed to have a good variety of meals. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. They have a couple of places where everybody could go and watch TV. In the summertime, they do trips to the waterfront. They got an area where you can sit and do puzzles or just about everything. I have bad legs but they have a therapist that will come in and work with me. They have a medical staff onsite and a nurse. Even if I cannot walk, I would probably be more active than some of the people there. I can even get an electric scooter to get around. They did everything for me.

My friend's room at Eden Heights of West Seneca was very nice, and it's less expensive than other places. They could help her with all of her needs like grooming. She likes the food and she likes her room. The staff was very nice and friendly and the living atmosphere was very casual. They have a number of activities, she doesn't go to them but the staff will go to her room and encourage her to go. They had a Christmas party, another time they had some fellow came in and he was playing the piano and sang. They also play bingo, hangman, and they have a choral group that sang in the Christmas party. She likes the food and the dining area is a little old fashioned but pretty. They have a menu every day that you can pick out if they want one of 2 entrees or they can choose something else as a meal. I'm not giving them a perfect score because once I went in to see the staff told them that she stinks and she needs to have a shower. So they went and told her that she needed to have a shower because I said she stinks. That was awful.

My mom is now in Eden Heights of West Seneca and being taken care of there. We chose them because they gave us a great feeling. We like it. It isn't really big, and it seems perfect for my mom. They're very nice people, too. Everything to me looks really good. Everybody is very helpful. The place is clean. The people are awesome and very helpful. They seem to take care of my mom. She seems happy, too. I was afraid it was going to be a problem because she doesn't want to move, but she seems to fit right in. The staff members all seem to be very nice and very helpful. My mom has no complaints about the food. Everything seems to be perfect. However, they're expensive.

I wanted to take a moment to extend my thanks to the staff at Eden Heights in West Seneca. My mother, Barbara, recently transition to a full-time nursing facility but spent time with you folks. She often told me how fond she was of everyone who works there, and how grateful she was for all you did for her. She referred to you as "her family." The work you do can be difficult and demanding. I wanted you to know that you were a great comfort to mom during a difficult time of transition.

My mom was a resident for almost 2 1/2 years at Eden Heights. I can not say enough about this facility. From the first day we came to see it right until our last day, everyone treated us like family. The nurses and aides are exceptional! My mother never had a complaint about anyone working there. From the front office to the food service department, they made her stay more enjoyable. Thank you Eden Heights for taking care of mom, it made the last 2 1/2 years easier for her!!

We love Eden Heights, we moved Mom here after a miserable two months at another local facility. They are kinder here and more patient and the entire atmosphere is both comfortable and comforting. I highly recommend Eden Heights of West Seneca.

The whole staff has one strong desire, to make everyone (relatives and residents) comfortable, happy and to make this their new home. They have multiple activities 7 days a week and we received everything we requested, normally the same day. I couldn't rate this place as good as they deserve, they just don't make that many stars in the rating.
