"I used FirstLight, but my mom is too stubborn, and we didn’t need three hours at a time, so it just wasn’t a good fit for us. We really need just a couple of times a day instead of three hours. When I called them, they responded and we met with the head of the company, Gary, who was very nice and explained the program and everything. Due to where my mom is located, there weren’t a lot of people who go out to that location, but he did find one person who was very good. It just didn’t fit our needs for my mom as far as the time and the hours, so I did have to end their service and gave them notice. Everything was a positive experience with FirstLight. They were very good, and I don't have any complaints. "

"My father is a current client of in-homecare provided by Homewatch CareGivers, and has received their agency services since 2012. I submit this review on his behalf, and our family. The nature of homecare offers many benefits, but is not without some challenges. Despite these inherent difficulties we have been fortunate in our experience with Homewatch CareGivers. Managing in-homecare for a loved one requires a mutual and trustworthy relationship with the provider. The collaboration established with our local Homewatch CareGivers agency continues to move in a positive direction. As the primary caretaker of my father's in-homecare services, I am frequently in direct contact with management and a witness to the quality of the caregivers that provide the services for him in his home. Based on these interactions, it is quite evident that the Homewatch CareGivers staff continually strive to meet the needs of the client, and respectfully recognize that the client's needs and care are of utmost importance to the family. Homewatch CareGivers effectively provide the staff coverage that is critical to my father's needs, and when a conflict arises with scheduling an ardent effort is made by management to cover these essential shifts. It is without question that the ability to access management 24 hours a day is one of the most helpful aspects Homewatch Caregivers offers. Further, on the occasions when my father has needed more coverage due to an illness, increased coverage has been expedited to accommodate his increased needs. Assessment of his well being and needs is ongoing and adjustments are made accordingly. The Homewatch CareGivers management team are qualified professionals who participate in my father's care on various levels. Open communication with management has been essential to my father's care, and often provides a sense of comfort in knowing you are not in this alone. We are as equally grateful for my father's team of dedicated & skilled caregivers that treat him with dignity and compassion. "Some of the aides from Maxim Healthcare Services are very good. The problem is if they come on time. Today, my aide was supposed to come at 9:00. I called, and they said they didn't have an aide for me. I was headed outside at 12:00, and all of a sudden an aide knocked on my door. They come when they want. One of the aides would be on the phone when they're not supposed to be on the phone because they're working. We've been using them since the end of December. There's just lack of communication with them. "

"My parents are using Comfort Keepers now. We started about one month ago, and they are very professional. The owner of the company came to my mother and father's house, gathering information, and said she had a caregiver that would fit their personality. When that was arranged, a caseworker and the caregiver came together for another two hours and talked to my parents. The caseworker left and the caregiver stayed. They are working out well together. They provide everything except medical, i.e., shopping, light housekeeping, errands, driving, and companionship. I recommend them because they're thorough, extremely gentle, and conscientious. They have a clearance form for any kind of felony. They make sure that these strangers would become family, that this is long term, and they will be providing them with the caregiver that they will get to know, and we will not have different faces in the home. I'm a very satisfied client. "

"From the beginning, it looked pleasant. We visited on a Sunday in mid July and there were people mingling around, which was nice. There were elder people in the back sitting in the shade enjoying themselves. The facility is all contained within a building, so you get an idea of what the conditions are pretty quickly. I was impressed at how clean and modern the public corridors were. That is in contrast to many similar places that are hotel/motel like and left in dingy status.The room itself was on the second floor and was spacious considering she was living alone. There was a quaint kitchen and room to maneuver from the living room to the bedroom. Her living room had a sliding glass window to a mini balcony with a view of the surrounding area. Having not actually encountered employees (we were buzzed up), I can't state an opinion about them. But everyone I saw personally appeared happy, which says a lot. "

"Well,my experience was an eventful one with Abundant Life home Care.They went over and beyond the services after, I came home from surgery I had done.The staff they sent out was very professional and punctual.When I needed assistance she was there at all times.Even ,when I needed my meals prepared they went above the call of duty.There were times I was immobile and could not perform certain task to my ability,they were patient and encouraged me.If there was a time my rehabilitation they helped motivate me with the awesome the had assigned.So,words could not express the gratitude I have for this company."

" I have been with Busy Bees Senior Care for at four years. I have received a rare occasion where I was unhappy with an Individual, but I let them know and I never dealt with that person again.
